Hikers who took a group selfie only realised something was terribly wrong with the image hours later.
Taking a group picture when you’re doing something fun like hiking a trail or mountain is pretty standard.
Six friends did just that and huddled together - two men in the back and four women in the front - and said ‘cheese’.
But the image isn’t what it seems, and it’s now left people freaking out.

Posted in the Ghosts of London Facebook group, and recirculated on several different channels and platforms, over 1,400 people liked the image for one special reason.
It looks like there’s a ghost hiding in plain sight.

The person posted it with the caption: "A friend of mine sent me this picture from his group of friends in Chile."

Initially, you can see everyone smiling close together and wearing their hiking clothing.
However, if you look a little closer, you’ll see a hidden face nestled in between the two women on the left.
Social media users are convinced it's a haunted photo depicting a ghost.
Someone wrote: "That gave me the shivers which normally mean my sixth sense kicked in lol."

Another said: "How scary is this in broad daylight though and how the heck did whatever it is get in-between these people. What a great catch that meaning a lot of people including me wouldn't have even spotted it like if I took the picture I mean."
Someone else said: "Oh wow. This a great catch. I have a feeling it's not a good spirit. It's scary. Wonder who this spirit is attached to."
However, not everyone was sold on it.
A user said: "It's too defined. You can see teeth and whatnot. I just don't know on this one."

And wrote: "Real or altered I never know these days, but that is really creepy."
Someone else said: “That’s legit just their hair they scared of their own hair?”
It definitely looks like the face of a girl between the two women, and despite what people say about it being a trick of mistaking their hair as the girl, there definitely seems to be a third head a scalp visible.

Similarly, a woman who visited one of Britain's most haunted locations realised she had ‘caught a ghost’ on camera only after she got home.
The Cornish prison, Bodmin Jail, was constructed in 1779 and is no stranger to horrors.
Tania Woods visited the jail as a birthday treat 13 years ago and noticed something in one of the images.
She posted it to Facebook where she said she showed it to staff and was offered a ‘free overnight stay with a medium for the photo’.
Right in her image was the face of what appears to be a ghost.
She told the Mirror: "I didn't realise I'd caught the ghost until I got home, I was living in Cornwall at the time. I contacted them and went back with my photo. The director at the time said this spirit had been caught before by a few other people."
I don’t think I’ll be using my camera any time soon.
