You Can Now Do A Britney Spears HIIT Workout

(Breathlessly): "it's Britney, b*itch!"

It only takes the opening bars of Oops I Did It Again to get us moving (throw in a glass or two of wine and we might be up on a table) so we're welcoming the news of a Britney Spears themed HIIT workout with open arms.

Frankly, if Brit can't motivate us to exercise, no one can.

Choreographed to a selection of banging tunes and combining upper body walk with butt-toning squats and lunges, this workout sesh will have you breaking a sweat and channelling the noughties icon in no time.

The 30-minute routine comes from certified PT, group fitness instructor and queen of themed HIIT routines Emily Thorne (or @emkfit, as she goes by on her social channels).

Along with being a ball of energy, Emily's delivery style is super relatable (the video tagline, for starters, is "watch me try to be sexy LOL") and she's full of tips and tricks when it comes to adapting the routine to meet your personal fitness needs.

Let's talk about the soundtrack, which moves through a number of iconic Brit tracks starting with a warm up routine to Oops I Did It Again before switching to Work B*tch (guaranteed to encourage you to break a sweat!) and Circus.

Meanwhile, the second half of the routine plays out to bangers If U Seek Amy, Stronger and Womanizer.

Emily's style is high energy and accessible (

The routine is fun, accessible and eclectic. Moves include high knee struts (Emily encourages a 'Ru Paul energy' for this part), forward jump squats, lunge-and-flex routines and even (yes, really) hair flips.

Brit, we're ready and available to be backing dancers any time.

If Spears-ercise isn't your thing, why not try a dance workout to the music from The Greatest Showman?

Brought to us by Canadian fitness vlogger Kyra Pro, the HIIT dance workout is just over 15 minutes, and it's set to a selection of the best songs from the movie.

Think The Greatest Show, The Other Side, This Is Me and Rewrite The Stars...

The video is packed full of easy moves to copy, from upper body exercises to side-lunges.

It's fun, energising and you'll feel like you're performing alongside the Barnum & Bailey Circus the whole time...
