Attention all moon-lovers, the Flower Moon is officially here and peaking today at 1.53pm in the UK.

As well as being a truly beautiful sight to behold - experts reckon it will have a huge effect on 4 star signs.

Alongside peaking today, the Flower Moon was visible to many yesterday and will remain so today as it will rise in the southeast and be visible from roughly 9:59pm tonight.

As well as bearing the beautiful name of Flower Moon (which is the most commonly used), it has also been referred to as the Planting Moon, and the Milk Moon, and the Hare Moon in years gone by.

This month's full moon, most popularly referred to as 'The Flower Moon', earned that title in order to reflect the fact that many flowers bloom in May.

Swooning.

Royal Museums Greenwich stated that Flower Moons are one of the largest and brightest full Moons of the year.

Celebrity astrologer Inbaal Honigman consulted the stars for Slingo, and discovered that 'the Full Moon represents a peak, a top - of desires, of achievements or of a specific goal.'

After the full moon, we have the inevitable decline, a calmer period. In love life, this Full Moon brings a great storm of emotions, either a big fight or a big getting together of a pair of opposites.

“Career wise, this is not the best time to schedule a catch up with the boss or a job interview as it will be chaotic, but it's a great time to apply for an award or a talent show.”

There are four signs that will be most affected by this year's Flower Moon, according to Inbaal.

Taurus

“Even though this Full Moon occurs after Taurus season, when the Sun has already moved from Taurus to Gemini, there are still several planets in Taurus, so anything big that happens in the sky, like the Flower Moon, will impact you directly", Inbaal shared.

“You enjoy quiet office days, Taurus, and the Flower Moon is not a quiet time, so try to schedule a WFH day to keep you away from the eye of the storm.

"In love, you'll find that your partner is feeling adventurous due to this Moon being in adventurous Sagittarius.”

Gemini

“Your season has just begun, when the Sun entered Gemini on the 21st, and you already get to enjoy the boost that the Flower Moon brings", Inbaal began.

“Adventure is your middle name, and the spritely nature of the Flower Moon inspires you creatively, you may be craving karaoke nights!

"Your love life is always colourful, but the Full Moon in Sagittarius takes that to the next level, and you may be pursued by more than one new suitor.”

Cancer

“Since you are ruled by the Moon, your emotions go up and down according to the tides of the New and the Full Moon", Inbaal said.

She continued: "This Moon works best for those with a big personality, so your timid self may want to book a quick getaway to a secret location.

“If your partner is peaceful like you, take the opportunity to reconnect and make the break a romantic one.”

Sagittarius

Inbaal shared: “This is your perfect night for manifesting, Sagittarius, since the Full Moon in your sign comes but once a year.

"Excitement and chaos are your favourite things, so light a fire outside and bang a drum like in the olden days, or get on a plane to visit a location where this fun behaviour would blend into the background.

“The Flower Moon will push you towards new beginnings with your career - don't resist the call, since you can't tolerate boredom.”
