A woman has sparked an 'existential crisis' among viewers after explaining her 'eerie' conspiracy theory about immortality.

There are many theories about what happens to us after we die, but what if we never actually experience death?

TikToker Joli Moli has presented Hugh Everett's quantum immortality theory to her viewers, which has left them completely mind-blown.

And on surface level, it sounds pretty wild. But the creator dived in a little deeper.

The theory suggests that instead of experiencing death, 'your consciousness just gets transferred to a parallel universe where you survived'.

She added: "If the quantum immortality theory is correct, you're just going to wake up in a parallel universe with no memory of the fact that you just survived an apocalyptic event."

And while, according to the theory, you would have absolutely no awareness of the prior life you existed within, there would be some 'clues'.

Moli explained that there would be 'new Mandela effects' - a phenomenon where you remember a completely different version of what is in front of you.

Re-emphasising her point, she added: "What I'm basically implying here is that in our reality, apocalypses happen every day…after the inevitable apocalypse occurs, you're going to wake up the next day in a new reality."

It's a stretch, but the TikToker went a step further to defend her point - this time including some science.

She said: "You don't believe me? Okay, it's been about 65 million years since the asteroids allegedly took out the dinosaurs.

"So you mean to tell me that in the last 65 million years, no other asteroids have come through the neighbourhood, taken us out?"

Moli continued: "Earth is probably always being taken out, and our consciousness just keeps getting transferred to another parallel universe."

The clip currently has nearly five million views, and it's left people feeling pretty concerned.

One wrote: "Ok, I'm actually kind of freaking out right now coz I'm not the conspiracy typa guy, but you're like eerily making sense."

Another said: "Thanks I was overdue for another existential crisis."

A third added: "The thought of never being able to actually die is extremely depressing, and it's giving me a headache."

"Bruh, I'm just done with this anxiety. My body [is] emotionally [and] physically TIREDDD," a fourth wrote.
