With lockdown forcing couples the world over to choose whether they isolate together or separately, people everywhere have been faced with tough decisions.

Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco is one celeb who chose to move in with her husband of two years during quarantine - but interestingly, she's adamant that it's "just for right now".

Kaley and her equestrian beau Karl have been together for four years and got hitched in a romantic ceremony back in summer 2018.

The Big Bang Theory star's Insta feed is a sea of mega cute snaps of the pair at black tie dinners, enjoying quiet nights in and even donning matching jackets emblazoned with their initials and the words 'Together Forever'.

Aww, stoppit you two.

However, Kaley and Karl both have busy schedules and like to remain independent.

The couple made the decision to go against conventionality and live apart - until recently, that is.

Talking about her relationship with E! News in August 2019, a year after her wedding, Kaley said: "We have a very unconventional marriage, you know, we have different locations that we're at a lot."

The actress continued: "We're not together every single day and I think, personally, it's important, it works well for us."

But the coronavirus pandemic had other plans for love birds Kaley and Karl. With the world heading indoors for quarantine, the couple decided to isolate together.

Now, in an interview with chat show host Conan O'Brien, Kaley has joked that she and her other half were 'forced' into making the big move.

Way to make it sound romantic, Kaley.

"This quarantine has forced us to actually move in together, it's been great for our relationship," laughed Kaley.

"We like each other, we realised, which is even better."

The actress went on to say that she and Karl's initial decision to live apart had "shocked" people but that their time together during quarantine had so far been "great".

"Everyone has a million opinions about what we do, right, but they were very shocked that we didn't live together," said the comedy star.

"But it's been great, and now we just moved in together during the quarantine and...I like him!"

Don't go getting the wrong impression though, people. Kaley is adamant that the move is only for the short term.

Asked by Conan what would happen when quarantine ended, Kaley responded: "He's out!

"This is just for the quarantine. I don't wanna give the wrong impression here, this is just for right now."

We're torn between championing this couple's admirable streak of independence and mourning the fact that we won't have their adorable self-isolation content forever.

Did we mention that Kaley and Karl live with menagerie of animals, including six dogs, horses and (*squeal*) piglets?!

If we moved in with these two in their Noah's Ark, we'd stay forever.
