Kaley Cuoco makes prediction about her baby daughter’s future

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco and her partner Tom Pelphrey welcomed baby Matilda on March 30.

Actor and new mum Kaley Cuoco has made an epic prediction about her baby daughter’s future.

On 30 March, The Big Bang Theory star and her partner Tom Pelphrey welcomed newborn Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey to the world.

The couple started dating in early 2022.

Taking to social media, the 37-year-old shared a series of pictures of the couple taking it in turns to cuddle their baby girl.

Kaley made a huge mark on the industry after starring as Penny in hit show The Big Bang Theory from 2007 until its final season in 2019.

"The new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle," Kaley wrote on Instagram.

"Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief.

"@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did."

Pelphrey - best known for playing Ben Davis in the Netflix original crime series Ozark - also posted a similar set of pics.

"My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle," the 40-year-old captioned his post.

"Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible."

Two months on, in an interview with Emmy magazine, the new mum has already made a bold prediction about her little girl's career aspirations in the future.

Kaley recently got the role of Ava Bartlett in Based on a True Story.

She plays one-half of a working-class couple who are forced into a world of crime.

But because she was pregnant with Matilda at the time, she pitched the producers a uniquely convenient idea.

“I’m like, ‘What if this character was pregnant? And they’re like, ‘Umm …’ and I’m like, 'Think really hard about it because maybe it’s a really good idea — and it might be the only option,” Kaley explained.

“They were looking at me, and I’m smiling, and they all went, ‘Oh, my God, are you pregnant?’ I’m like, ‘Uh-huh.’

“What I love is they didn’t change the character. The show is super edgy, and none of that changed because I was pregnant,” she continued.

However, while filming, Matilda made her off-screen/in-body debut by kicking Kaley so hard during a scene that it made her co-star Ever Carradine jump.

“I don’t know how she won’t [become an actor]. The child already thinks she’s the star of everything,” said the new mum.

Kaley now thinks that 'it's in her genes' that Matilda will one day become an actor.

Well it seems Matilda will have a lot to live up to.

Her mum made a huge mark on the industry after starring as Penny in hit show The Big Bang Theory from 2007 until its final season in 2019.

More recently she starred in Emmy-nominated black comedy The Flight Attendant.

Relationship-wise, Kaley has been married twice, first to American tennis player Ryan Sweeting, who she divorced in 2016, and then to equestrian star Karl Cook.

In September 2021, Cuoco and Cook announced they had filed for divorce after three years of marriage.
