Newlyweds Spark Debate After Wearing Tracksuits To Reception

We've all heard of brides having two wedding dresses - after all, if you opt for a huge, princess-style gown for your ceremony, it can be tricky to bust your best moves on the dance floor come evening.

But one couple took comfort to the next level for their wedding reception - and we are so here for it. The bride and groom in question wore joggers and trainers on their big day and they look incredible.

While the bride wore white joggers, trainers, a crop top and a veil, her husband can be seen wearing an all-black set.

And they look like they're having the best time.

Other social media users are loving the idea, with fellow brides and grooms commenting on the post.

One wrote: "I wish I would have thought of this!"

While another said: "Comfort for the win!!!"

And a third added: "I'm obsessed with this! Cute And comfortable. Perfect."

"This is really cute. Just do what you want as long you are happy," said a fourth.

The videographer added: "When you roll up to your wedding reception like… 🤟🏻

"I love when couples say screw tradition and find unique and fun ways to show their personalities on their wedding day and start new trends of their own!

"I predict sweat suits will be an up and coming trend this year and I am HERE FOR IT 🤟🏻."

Others however, were not about the idea, with some claiming the tracksuits weren't special enough.

One wrote: "Omg literally you only get ONE day to wear the most beautiful expensive dress you will ever wear."

And another said: "Personally, that would be my worst nightmare...!! 😱😂 I have a Pinterest board with a few hundred pictures of potential wedding dresses and I'm not even engaged yet 😂😂 I'm looking forward to be a princess soooo much."

In other wedding news, people have been taken aback by one groom’s choice of outfit.

Shared on Reddit’s r/weddingshaming forum, user margnaheglish posted a picture of one bride and groom cutting their wedding cake with a sword.

The bride was dressed in the traditional long white gown, with a layered skirt, but the groom could be seen wearing a black slogan t-shirt and brown cargo shorts. You can read more on that here.
