Bride's Outrage After Guests Refused To Donate £1,112 Each

This is truly shocking.

A furious bride has called off her wedding and split up with her fiancé after guests refused to donate $1,500 (£1,112) each to help pay for her wedding.

The woman took to Facebook to reveal what had happened, explaining how she couldn't understand why people wouldn't donate to help fund the wedding, adding that she 'just wanted to be a Kardashian for the day'.

The woman shared her story on Facebook (

While the post dates back to 2018, it's since been unearthed on Reddit - and people are shook.

The bride explained that initially, she and her fiancé had saved up $15,000 (£11,097) for their wedding, but after visiting a psychic - who apparently told them to go with a more expensive option - they pushed the budget to $60,000 (£44,390).

"All we asked for was a little help from our friends and family to make it happen," she wrote. "How could we have OUR wedding that WE dreamed of without proper funding?"

The bride went on to explain that while she initially received some donations from a couple of family members and her maid of honour, once the invites were sent, they only had eight donations in total.

"We were fu**ing livid. How was this supposed to happen without a little help from our family and friends?" She asked.

The bride went on to explain that she even set up a Go Fund Me page - but only made $250 (£185) and to make it worse, the donations she had initially received were retracted.

The bride then told her followers that her husband-to-be suggested a Vegas wedding instead, which was pretty much the last straw.

And when she tried to call her maid of honour for sympathy, but was instead blocked on all social media. "My bridesmaids climbed on the boat with my maid of honour and dissed me. They essentially told me I was crazy."

The bride finished the post by adding: "I am cutting all you snakes off. I am living my life alone now. I only let in those I believe have good intentions."

And other users were utterly shook at the post, with one writing: "1,500 is an absurd amount wtf."

While another said: "1,500 is what I have left over for spending after one year of working considering all my costs and savings. And I consider myself lucky to have that. Absurd that someone would expect me to just donate it."

And a third added: "I want to know how many friends she gave $1,500 to for their dream wedding??"
