Friends and family of mum-of-three Ashleigh De-Andrade have been left utterly devastated after she died suddenly upon returning from a family holiday.

Ashleigh had been feeling poorly after the holiday to North Wales and went for a nap on April 26, only to wake up in a sweat with a temperature.

The Merseyside mum, who had been in the midst of planning her wedding, was rushed to hospital right away, where she suffered several seizures before being put in an induced coma.

Sadly, though, Ashleigh died later that same day.

Ashleigh's passing was such a shock to everyone because, according to her friend Lauren Guest, she was 'absolutely fine' in the weeks before.

Lauren told the Liverpool Echo: "It was all really quick and sudden so it makes it even more devastating.

"They came back on Sunday (April 23) after being away with her three boys and partner. She didn't feel too good so she went up to bed for a little sleep. Her partner woke her up a few hours later.

"She was sweating. He took her to hospital to get checked and she had a couple of seizures in hospital."

Lauren also noted that Ashleigh had been studying to be a mental health nurse at Edge Hill University.

"She was so excited to be a nurse," said her friend. "She was always the one if some of us were struggling [with exam preparation] who said 'come on you can do it.' She was always so positive.

"Her and her partner were getting married in the near future. She had so many plans for when she qualified."

In a GoFundMe page set up by Lauren, she says that Ashleigh suffered an 'unexpected bleed on the brain'.

"I can’t even begin to put into words just how amazing Ashleigh was," Lauren wrote on the fundraiser for the late mum's family.

Ashleigh had been studying to be a mental health nurse.

"She was just the most beautiful person inside and out with the biggest, purest heart and was amazing at everything she did including being a nurse.

"Ashleigh was in her second year of university studying Mental Health Nursing she was sooo excited to be a nurse & was absolutely smashing her degree with such a bright future ahead of her & her beautiful little family.

"These plans have been taken away far too soon & she will forever hold a special place so many people hearts."

Ashleigh is survived by her fiancé Jordan Nimmo and their three sons Jacob, 12, Noah, 10, and Lewi, three.

Lauren's GoFundMe, which has already collected £2,500 worth of donations, will go toward Ashleigh's 'beautiful boys and partner Jordan to be able to spend some much needed quality time together in the near future'.
