Babies crying on flights is always a divisive topic - while some people are adamant that 'child-free flights' should exist, others take the opinion that babies cry, and other passengers need to get over it.

The argument has recently emerged on TikTok, after one social media user shared a video of their 29-hour flight, believed to be between New Zealand and Berlin, where a baby on board appeared to be crying for the entirety of the journey.

You can watch the clip below:

The video was shared by Henry Beasley - part of New Zealand band Balu Brigada - who could be seen sitting through the crying during the flight.

He captioned the clip: "Hey babe, how was your flight?"

He even provided joke reviews of the crying, including "strong start", "the kid's got some lungs", "great projection" and "kettle's boiled".

But the video caused a bit of a stir on TikTok, with many divided over the topic of children and babies on flights.

While some claimed that there should be 'kid-free flights', others were sympathetic towards the parents.

The baby seemed to cry the entire journey.

One person wrote: "Honestly there should be kid free flights and kid flights."

While another said: "I would pay EXTRA for kids free flights."

And a third added: "They shouldn't let kids on flights longer then 4 hours."

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "Had a kid on my 14h flight right behind me and it not only screamed the whole flight it also kicked my seat without a break."

Others were of the opposite opinion however, with another writing: "If I have my hands free, I always offer to help if I see a parent struggling. Don’t for a moment think the parent is having a fun time."

Another said: "It’s like everyone forgot they were once kids. Society makes me so sad sometimes."

And a third wrote: "I feel for the mother as I say she’s doing everything to help her child relax and cause the kids ears could be popping or else the kid is bored."

The clip caused a debate on TikTok.

Last month, we told you how one woman sparked debate after also calling for airlines to offer adult-only flights.

A child could be heard screaming behind as the passenger asked: "Why isn’t there such a thing as adult only flights? I would pay so much money.

"The flight was three hours and I listened to this the entire time. I have noise cancelling headphones, the child was well over five years old, and they sat directly behind me while kicking my chair as the mother slept."
