Fellow parents were shocked at the clip.

Parents who took an eight hour plane journey with their toddler have been criticised for letting the youngster jump on the tray table.

Over on Reddit, a video of the incident was shared in a post - and people were utterly outraged over the clip. You can watch it below:

The clip was shared under the title 'letting children run wild during an 8 hour flight' and shows the toddler jumping up and down on the tray table, which looks pretty unpleasant for the passenger directly in front, who appears to be shaken back and forth from the jumping.

The video seems to have been filmed by a passenger on the same row as the child and their family, who is watching the little one vigorously jump on the tray.

And other Redditors were shocked by the video, with many taking to the comments to share their views.

The little one can be seen jumping on the tray table.

One person wrote: "I would feel like a failed parent if my kids were doing this and I was just straight up allowing it."

While another said: "My only kid is a tornado and NO FU**ING WAY would I allow her to behave this way in public, let alone on a flight. It’s just bad parenting."

And a third added: "Why is the guy just letting it happen? I would’ve said something"

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "Shouldn't the flight attendants have intervened? If so, I hope that passenger got some compensation from the airline."

And a fifth said: "I would never allow one of my kids to disrupt someone this way.

"Talking a little loud is one thing. Having your toddler jumping on plane seats while holding onto another person's (strangers) chair is completely wrong.

"I hope that man was reimbursed in some way. The parents probably saw nothing wrong with this. Unacceptable."

Many Redditors were shocked at the video.

Last month, we told you how people were calling for 'adult-only planes' after a child screamed for an entire 29-hour flight.

One social media user shared a video of their 29-hour flight, believed to be between New Zealand and Berlin, where a baby on board appeared to be crying for the entirety of the journey.

The video was shared by Henry Beasley - part of New Zealand band Balu Brigada - who could be seen sitting through the crying during the flight.

He captioned the clip: "Hey babe, how was your flight?"

You can read more on that - and watch the video - here.
