People are mind-blown after learning this one simple trick that can pause your thoughts and silence your mind in a matter of seconds.

TikTok page The Mental Level introduced the 'Jedi mind trick' to their followers and people can't believe how quickly their mind goes on mute. Check it out here:

According to a 2020 study, our brain has an average of 6,000 thoughts per day - whether it's coherent, conscious ideas, fantastical daydreams or racing, worrisome thoughts.

People who suffered from a busy mind couldn't believe how quickly the trick worked on their own brains, and took to the comments section to share what happened when they asked themselves the simple question.

"You just set my brain in airplane mode," joked one TikToker.

"My mind must be shy she hasn’t said a thing," commented a second.

While a seventh revealed: "My next thought: 'Why can’t I think of a thought?'"

The TikTok creator credited spiritual teacher and author Eckhart Tolle for the simple brain-silencing question, pointing to his famous books The Power Of Now and A New Earth for 'more mind-releasing goodness'.

People who live with ADHD can typically struggle with concentration, focus, and patience - some symptoms that can easily be relieved by a quiet mind.

"I have ADHD. I. Cannot. BELIEVE. How quickly this worked. I’m stunned," commented one viewer.

A second added: "I have ADHD. My mind has never been that quiet in my entire life. Thank you."

Brb we need to try this immediately!
