Why not add a bit of pizazz to your next movie night with this trendy Nutella popcorn recipe for the ultimate sweet-meets-savoury snack?

TikTok chefs are adding the hazelnut spread to their homemade popcorn recipes and the results are absolutely mouth-watering.

Learn the recipe here:

This is far from your standard microwave popcorn snack, but we're happy to pull out a few pots and pans to make this dreamy cinema snack a reality.

All you'll need to make this tasty treat is butter, a deep pan, popcorn kernels, and a jar of sweet, sweet Nutella.

To start, add your butter and Nutella to the pan, mixing and melting the two together until they make become one delicious concoction.

Just be extra cautious that you don't turn the heat up too high - burnt Nutella isn't the most appetising!

Next, add your popcorn kernels to the pan, mixing them up with the chocolate-butter blend.

After giving your kernels a good stir, put the lid on your pan and let the magic happen.

Be sure to keep an eye on the cooking process and make sure the heat stays low.

You'll be left with some buttery chocolate hazelnut popcorn, but we recommend you make enough to share - this one will be popular!

If Nutella isn't your thing then not to worry. People are also going nuts for this Malteser popcorn recipe, and it's super easy to make.

Dumping a share-bag of Maltesers into your toasty bag of popcorn is one thing, but Malteser-flavoured popcorn is a whole new level of delicious. Trust us.

But be warned! Some variations of these recipe could leave you with a mound of burnt chocolate and unpopped kernels. So proceed with caution.

If you make sure to keep an eye on the heat and give your kernels a good shake from time to time, you'll be unstoppable.

Anyone else hungry all of a sudden?
