People Are Making Christmas Rice Krispies Cakes

These look unreal.

If you love a bit of Christmas baking, then we've got the perfect festive recipe for you to get stuck into this weekend.

People are making Christmas themed Rice Krispies cakes - and they look utterly delish.

One chef - known on TikTok as @jonwatts88 - demonstrated how to make the super easy Christmas pudding Rice Krispy cakes - and they're so simple.

You can watch the video below:

To make the Rice Krispies Christmas puddings, you'll need to melt 100g butter, 200g Mars Bars and two tablespoons of golden syrup in a saucepan until smooth, before pouring in 140g Rice Krispies and mixing.

Spoon the mixture into muffin cases and then pop in the fridge to set for an hour.

Jon explains to make the topping, simply melt 180g white chocolate over a pan. Once the cakes have been removed from the fridge, spoon over the white chocolate and decorate with some festive sprinkles!

So simple!

Other people are opting to make Christmas tree Rice Krispies cakes, instead. All you need to do to create the festive treats is melt butter and mini marshmallows in a pan, before adding in Rice Krispies. Give it a good mix, before popping in the fridge to set.

Once set, you can then use a tree-shaped cutter (or a triangular one would also work) to create your festive design!

In other baking news, earlier this year we told you how to make another festive-themed recipe - crumpet pigs-in-blankets.

The mouthwatering treat was created by @foodmadesimple, who shared a video of how to make the tasty bites.

The TikToker began by grabbing three crumpets, and popping them into the microwave for one minute.

They then removed the crumpets, and flattened them using a rolling pin before turning them over so they're base-up.

Once flat, they takes three sausages, and roll each sausage in a crumpet, before taking a slice of bacon and wrapping it around the crumpet.

You can read more on that here.
