We love crumpets, and we love pigs-in-blankets, which is why we're obsessed with a new recipe we came across on TikTok - crumpet pigs-in-blankets, the ultimate tasty snack.

The mouthwatering treat was created by @foodmadesimple, who shared a video of how to make the tasty bites.

So how do you make them?!

Well, the TikToker begins by grabbing three crumpets, and popping them into the microwave for one minute.

They then remove the crumpets, and flatten them using a rolling pin before turning them over so they're base-up.

Once flat, @foodmadesimple takes three sausages, and rolls each sausage in a crumpet, before taking a slice of bacon and wrapping it around the crumpet.

They then pop them in the oven until cooked.

And followers are blown away by the simple, but delicious idea.

It's not the first time the TikToker has come up with a genius way of using crumpets.

Earlier this year, we were left drooling when we came across a recipe for cheesy garlic bread made from none other than crumpets.

The TikToker first takes five crumpets before cutting them into quarters and arranging them in a baking dish. They then coat the crumpets in plenty of melted garlic butter before adding a generous helping of cheese.

It's important not to be stingy on the garlic and cheese - the more the better if you ask us. Then, all you need to do is pop in the oven for around 10 mins until the cheese has melted and the crumpets are golden brown.
