If you’re looking for a super sweet treat to brighten up a drizzly weekend, then we have the recipe for you.

Candy floss ice cream is taking TikTok by storm, with many food bloggers trying out the delicious treat – and it looks absolutely incredible.

The ice cream itself looks fairly simple to make, if you fancy giving it a try yourself.

First of all, pour two cups of heavy whipping cream into a mixing bowl, and whisk together until stiff peaks form.

The best way to test whether it’s stiff enough? Hold the bowl upside down over your head, and none of the mixture should move.

Fold in a full can of condensed milk, and then add in two tablespoons of granulated sugar, and half a teaspoon of candyfloss flavouring and mix well.

Now everything’s thoroughly mixed in, the mixture should be divided into two bowls, and use just a few drops of blue food colouring in one bowl, and a few drops of red or pink food dye in another, and mix together until evenly coloured.

You can choose different food colourings if you’d like – these are just popular candy floss colours.

Next, get a freezer safe dish and scoop the mixture in, alternating between each bowl as you go to create a pattern.

Swirl the mixture together, cover with plastic wrap, and bung into the freezer for between four to six hours until completely frozen.

Et voila! Candy floss ice cream.

Some people have switched up the recipe: instead of putting candy floss flavouring and food colouring in the mixtures, some have chosen to actually put in a decent handful of blue and pink candy floss into the mix instead, which gives a similar end result.

We can’t wait to give this a go – though our dentist may not be best pleased…
