Paul Rudd had a hilarious response to being told he has a 'huge penis' in an unexpected X-rated interview moment.

The Clueless star, 56, appeared on the 'Take Your Shoes Off w/ Rick Glassman' podcast on Thursday (8 January) alongside the host, who quizzed him about his, erm, size.

It comes just after Rudd's previous feature on the podcast back in July, which went viral on social media when they did a bit of a skit.

The moment in question saw Michael Cera come in pretending to be an assistant, bringing the actor hot coffee and accidentally spilling it on Rudd's face.

The Friends actor then took a fake trip to the emergency room, where he returned from after pretending to have been drugged up on painkillers.

As part of the comedy sketch, this led to him ‘soiling’ himself and needing to be helped up by Glassman and Cera as his trousers were removed.

He also then removed his pants, with his down there being blurred out.

And now, in the new podcast episode, Glassman continued on with the joke, making it clear that he saw more than enough of the Ant-Man actor.

Quite bluntly, Glassman said: "You have a huge penis. You do - you have a huge penis."

Rudd didn't say anything but shrugged and grimaced at the camera.

Glassman then joked that while they were going to blur out the 'poop', they wondered if the actor would rather they didn’t actually blur out his, ahem, manhood.

"If showing the poop takes you down two points. Showing the penis raises you four. So I thought you're coming out ahead," he said.

To which Rudd responded: "So basically, two steps back, four steps forward," before musing: "I didn’t realise that you even saw my penis."

Glassman continued the gag with: “It was hard - it was soft to miss. It was hard to miss, even when it’s soft… Do you feel like people don’t know how big your penis is?"

Rudd simply replied: "I mean I’ve never done - I’ve never been naked in a movie. I’m a fairly private person. I don’t wanna just be wagging my d**k all over the place. I’m not Harvey Keitel in The Piano.”

Fans were absolutely loving the commitment to the bit and even hailed the episode as one of the best ever.

YouTube users wrote in the comments of the podcast: "Paul Rudd has to be the most game-for-anything person on the planet," and "I have no one to talk about this with."

A third quipped: "This is one of the best things I’ve ever seen," and a fourth chimed in with: "This has to be one of the best podcast episodes of all time. Not just of TYSO, of all podcast history."

Meanwhile, a fifth joked: "How do I share this with a friend without having to establish ten hours of backstory."
