A co-star of Nickelodeon actor Tylor Chase has issued a sad update after the former child star has been hospitalised.
Fans had been sharing their worries about Chase after a video of him looking unwell went viral, and were shocked to see how life had turned out for him.
The 'heartbreaking' video featured 36-year-old Chase looking dishevelled and apparently homeless, and his family, friends and fans have banded together to try to help.
He shot to fame for his role playing Martin Qwerly in the Nickelodeon TV show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, as well as parts in Everybody Hates Chris and Good Time Max.

His dad spoke out, confirming his son suffers from mental health issues while Riverside Police Department Public Information Officer Ryan Railsback told The Daily Mail they didn't know how long Chase had been 'experiencing homelessness'.

Former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee revealed to the Mail that Chase's dad 'instructed' a influencer, Jacob 'Jake' Harris, to help his son however he can.
Chase is now said to be receiving urgent medical care in a hospital in Southern California.
Harris confirmed: "I was able to finally get ahold of a crisis center that would come out and do a same-day evaluation. They determined he needed immediate help and brought him to a local hospital for 72-hour treatment."
"He’s in good care now. And the future is looking bright. He just needed someone to actually do something to help"
Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss also added: "Tylor has been taken to a facility by a mental health crisis team. He is under the care of Riverside county officials."
"The public outpouring of support came at a very crucial time. He is not well. He requires care beyond the scope of standard detox facilities. He needs weeks to stabilize," the star added.
However, he pleaded for privacy now to allow Chase to recover, and begged for people to take a step back now he is receiving help.

"From the bottom of my heart, we are truly grateful for the tips and additional aid everyone has offered, but now is a time to respect Tylor's privacy."
"He has all the resources necessary and we should pray that he's able to recover."
Former co-star Lee revealed he FaceTimed Chase to 'encourage him' to accept help.
Weiss confirmed: "Jake had established a conversation with him and was working on establishing a rapport, which is difficult — and it can be tricky — considering the state that Tylor's in,"
"He said that Tylor seemed to be very receptive to getting treatment and to the idea of going into a detox."
Apparently their first attempt wasn't successful, with Chase becoming 'spooked' and insisting he liked his life the way it is, but eventually managed to be persuaded to accept help.
Fans are sending their well wishes to the star in hopes of a successful recovery.
