The latest season of Married At First Sight UK kicked off on Monday (16 September) and we've already seen an avalanche of antics from the brides and grooms looking for love.

From Kieran's bizarre love song to Kristina which involved lyrics about 'sh*t on his chest' to Casper's shocking 'sister' comment before he wed Emma - it's clear this season is going to be very, very intense.

And the latest MAFS UK chatter online sees viewers of the Channel 4 show call out a 'major red flag' after hearing one groom's shocking wedding vows.

Now, no matter how traditional or modern you are - you ideally want your wedding day to be one of the most magical days of your lives filled with joy, excitement and all things romance.

However, for the likes of Nathan and Lacey in last night's episode (17 September), this was far from the case.

Things didn't start off too well for the 24-year-old engineer when he made a crucial mistake.

While waiting at the altar to meet his new missus for the first time, he couldn't resist turning around when he heard someone walking down the aisle.

"I can hear the heels," he said to himself, before adding 'wow' when he saw who he thought was his bride-to-be.

The woman, dressed entirely in pink, then sat down at a pew prompting Nathan to ask: "Is that not her?"

In a beyond cringe turn of events, the groom was informed that the woman in fact was his bride's non-identical twin sister, Paige.

When bride Lacey, 27, finally rocked up to the altar the pair exchanged vows which were, let's just say, interesting.

Nathan explained to his new wife that he would never let her walk out the house if she didn't like what she was wearing, sounding warning alarms for many viewers at home who rushed to social media to share their concern.

One X user wondered: "Did he really just say, I will never let you walk out of the house in something horrible?"

"He doesn’t remember her name and jokes about not letting her out of the house if he doesn’t like her outfit?" warned a second. "Run girl run!"

A third declared: "Not letting her out of the house looking horrendous' No wonder Lacey thinks her wovs were better."

"'Promise not to let you go out in anything hideous' - Nathan. RED FLAG. RED FLAG," echoed a final X user.

What do you make of it?
