Despite starting off this year's series as one of the strongest couples, it looks as though MAFS UK stars Kieran Chapman and Kristina Goodsell have hit some serious bumps in the road which could spell disaster for their relationship.

At last night's commitment ceremony, a bombshell admission was dropped which sent shockwaves through the cast and hinted at the end of the road for their relationship.

When the 2024 instalment of Married At First Sight kicked off, it looked as though the show's in-house matchmakers had picked the perfect pairing in engineer Kieran and dog-walker Kristina.

Ever since donning a striking pair of false teeth to meet his blushing bride at the end of the aisle, the duo have kept one another laughing.

The loved-up couple's marriage went from strength-to-strength throughout the duration of their honeymoon, and appeared to be smooth-sailing when they shacked up together.

Recently, however, the pair tragically hit a bump in the road.

In the last week, Kieran left his other-half 'gutted' after jokingly locking lips with another bride.

And after Kristina opened up about her struggles with PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), Kieran admitted he didn't know if he'd be able to handle the symptoms of the condition.

And in last night's episode, Kieran once again left Kristina heartbroken after admitting he has big fears about the future of their romance.

Telling the experts he is'petrified' about the notion of 'wasting time with the wrong person', Kieran brought his wife to tears.

Returning once again to the topic of Kristina's health condition, the 28-year-old says: "At the last commitment ceremony, I explained how the PMDD was affecting me.

"But I've since realised that there's underlying areas where we're not similar that are important to me."

Asked by love expert Mel Schilling, 'What made you say that?', Kieran went on to tell Kristina: "I asked you the other day, didn't I? What's more important; finding a husband or pursuing something that you're really passionate about?

"She said finding a husband and I went, 'This is why we're very different'."

Kristina, 31, then chimes in, telling the experts: "Coming in here from day one, I wanted to build a new life wherever that took me."

Surprised by her remark, Kieran then adds: "Which I guess I can feel the pressure of.

"For someone to be ready to leave where she's from and almost move straight away, that's scary. It's just getting scary.

"I came into this wanting to find a wife who I can spend the rest of my life with. But I'm petrified."

Asked by Mel what exactly he is so scared of, Kieran bluntly replied: "Wasting time with the wrong person."
