Best man gets slammed for 'disgusting' wedding speech filled with x-rated jokes

Best man gets slammed for 'disgusting' wedding speech filled with x-rated jokes

The bridesmaids were far from happy

While weddings are usually joyous occasions all about celebrating a beautiful loving union between two people - it's clear not everyone has the fairytale day they've always dreamt of.

Married at First Sight Australia viewers have been left beyond mortified after a best man delivered a pretty explicit speech packed to the brim with a load of x-rated jokes.

Despite the totally appalled expression plastered across the faces of onlookers, the best man just kept going and has since been slammed for his 'disgusting' wedding speech.

Have a look:

During an episode of MAFS Australia, the likes of Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell said 'I do' after meeting at the altar for the very first time.

However, Tim's mate, Ben, took it upon himself to use the opportunity at the reception to relay a pretty comprehensive history of his pal's sexual past.

Firstly, Ben referred to Tim’s marriage to Sara as 'experiment number 865' - clearly not off to a great start.

Ben continued: "I was not surprised to hear Tim was partaking in this experiment because Tim is a man of science.

"He's quite fond of experimentation."

A best man from MAFS Australia shocked crowds with his 'train wreck' of a wedding speech.

The best man then listed out a number of Tim’s former 'experiments', joking: "Experiment 551. Romance at high speed. Is road-head safe?

"Experiment 552. Is it okay to get head in the ER since you crashed your car and you’re here now anyway?

"Experiment 759. Love at first sight through beer goggles."

"Talk to Tim after this speech if you want the results of these experiments."

Yikes.

Ben's speech unsurprisingly did not go down well with Sara's bridesmaid, Lauren, who later told cameras that the comments made about Tim's previous sexual exploits while driving were 'disgusting'.

He just kept going...

"This speech is an absolute train wreck. That was a red flag if I've ever seen it," she added. "Ben's speech was really derogatory. I thought it was disgusting."

And, as if things couldn't get any more awkward, Ben decided to share with the room how he once watched Tim eat a four day old 'rancid' chicken.

Topping it all off, he then told the bride: "Sara, you can find solace in the fact that, rancid or not, Tim will still eat you."

The 'train wreck' of a speech was subsequently shared to MAFS Australia's TikTok page with many viewers rushing in to share their reactions to the cringe-worthy ordeal.

Viewers called the wedding speech 'incredibly disrespectful'.

One viewer wondered why no one stepped in to stop Ben's babbling: "Why didn’t the groom shut him down.

A second penned: "Don’t know what was worse… His speech or hairstyle."

"Ooh god dude... noooo are you serious!" wrote a third, while a fourth chimed in: "In what world did this guy think this was a good idea... for a boys weekend maybe for a wedding... dude."

A final TikTok user echoed: "This doesn’t bode well. Very ordinary indeed, incredibly disrespectful and he sat there and smirked through it all."

Talk about not reading the room.
