One Harry Potter star suddenly disappeared from the franchise after starring in the first six films, and here's the reason why.

The Harry Potter films are timeless and will be on repeat every year in fans' houses all over the world.

For me, I rewatch them every winter and the actors who brought our beloved characters to life stick with us as much as the films themselves.

Although we might be aware of what Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have all gone on to do - hell, we even know what Jessie Cave is up to these days since she announced her new OnlyFans venture - but one cast member that you might be in the dark about is Jamie Waylett.

You might know him by another name and that's Vincent Crabbe, fifty percent of the troublesome Slytherin duo Crabbe and Goyle - also known as Draco Malfoy's minions.

As you know, Crabbe's character was present for six Harry Potter films, making his first appearance in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone ('Sorcerers Stone' if you're American) and his last appearance in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

But for the final two films, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One and Two, Crabbe was nowhere to be seen by Malfoy's side and instead stood Blaise Zabini, played by Louis Cordice.

With nothing about Crabbe's departure written into the storyline, fans were left wondering what happened to Slytherin veteran, and it's all to do with a spot of legal trouble actor Waylett found himself involved in.

Waylett was pulled over and subsequently arrested and after a search of his house turned up a cannabis farm worth £2000 in his bedroom, it's safe to say Waylett was in a bit of bother. This happened to happen midway through shooting the last two instalments, and the rest is history.

Tom Felton, who, of course, played Malfoy, commented on the matter during the press tour for sixth film and it's safe to say Felton made his feelings on the matter very clear.

“Jamie was never one to appreciate where he was or what he was doing. It’s massively disappointing. I don’t have too much to say other than the fact he’s let himself down hugely.

“It’s a massive disappointment for himself and the franchise.”

Oh, but it doesn't stop there, as Waylett caused even more controversy when he was jailed for taking part in the 2011 London Riots.

Sounds like something a Slytherin would do, to be fair.

Nowadays, Waylett seems to be keeping out of trouble as he reinvented himself as a rapper named 'Bully' and has taken a step back from life in the very public eye.

Not only that but he did do Cameo for a hot minute where he charged fans around £154 for personalised videos from the Slytherin faithful as he referred to himself as 'Slytherin for life'.
