If you grew up watching Good Luck Charlie, this might just make you feel very old.
The Disney Channel TV show’s child star Mia Talerico has shared the huge life update that she’s officially started her senior year of high school - yep, that’s right, the little girl who Teddy was recording vlogs for is now 17 years old.
For those who are unfamiliar with the American sitcom, it ran from April 2010 to February 2014 on Disney Channel, starring Mia as the titular character.
It followed the Duncan family in Denver as they navigated welcoming a fourth child into their family, Charlie, while her big sister Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) recorded a video diary for her younger sis, offering advice and sharing her adventures.

Mia took on the role when she was just eleven months old and was five when the series came to a close, so she pretty much grew up on the show.

Understandably, the star hitting a big milestone has got the OG Disney fans feeling emotional - and old.
Mia shared a slew of photos to Instagram of herself holding up a chalkboard sign that reads: “1st Day of Senior Year,” alongside the date, 19 August 2026.
She penned in the caption: “Last First Day! Now i’m starting to feel old #senioryear #firstdayofschool #smile.”
And as we say, she wasn’t the only one, as fans flooded the comments with shock and to wish Mia luck for her senior year.
One social media user wrote: “You kidding?? I feel old. Good luck Charlie!”
While a second emotionally penned: “Aww Charlie you & my brother are senior this year, time really do go by fast .. Good luck Charlie.”
And a third and fourth wrote: “Our Charlie is all grown up, time sure flies” and “I’m old, like whatttt you was just a baby.”
“Good luck, Charlie, oh we’re all so proud of you & so thankful to have watched you grow up,” gushed a fifth.

While a sixth pointed out: “Congratulations @miatalerico101 and you are NOT old!!! I AM old because I am 24 now but when I saw you in Good Luck Charlie for the first time I was only 8!!!”
A seventh chimed in with “Damm I feel old it feels like it was just yesterday I was watching her on my tv” and an eighth shocked fan questioned: “Charlie is a senior??? Damn we’re old”
Others joked: “Remember to watch Teddy’s vlogs if u ever need help” and “Stop making me feel old I used to watch u as a baby bruhhh.”
And if you want to feel even older, Mia is about to star in a new movie, American Summer, which will be released on 4 August.
The movie follows Mikey (Parker Bates) as he relives the unforgettable summer he met Kelly, where ‘baseball, first love, unforgettable adventures and lifelong friendships shaped the man he would become, even as his father remained missing overseas’.
Mia has been promoting the movie over on her Instagram, where she has more than 1.2 million followers.
Good luck, Charlie!
