Famous Skins actors you forgot were in it as cult classic hits another milestone
Want to feel old? It's been nearly two decades since Skins hit our screens, and the show finally came to an end 13 years ago today.
The final episode aired on August 5, 2013, after seven seasons.
The series followed the lives of a group of teenagers in Bristol, and was groundbreaking for covering a whole host of controversial issues and for showing the characters as anything other than little angels.
Many of the OG cast went on to find further fame, with Hannah Murray (Cassie) heading to Game Of Thrones, as did Joe Dempsie (Chris), while Nicholas Hoult (Tony) has been in just about everything, and Dev Patel (Anwar) went next level with Slumdog Millionaire.

As well as the young cast, the show was packed full of famous faces you've probably forgotten were in it, so here's a reminder 13 years on.
Bill Bailey (Walter Oliver)
The renowned comedian and musician Bill Bailey played the role of Walter Oliver.
His cameo was as Maxxie's dad, and his character is obsessed with country music and training his dog.
He liked to combine both interests, and tried to teach his dog to line dance.
In real life, Bill Bailey took up dancing too and was crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing in 2020 alongside professional partner Oti Mabuse.
John Bishop (Rob Fitch, Emily & Katie's dad)
Fellow comedian and presenter John Bishop appeared as Rob Fitch, who was dad to twin sisters Emily and Katie.
He appeared in both series 3 and 4 in 2009 and 2010, with his character owning a gym called Rob Fitch Fitness.
In the second episode of the fourth series, he loses the gym and his house after being bad with money.
As well as his comedy, John Bishop went on to play the Time Lord companion Dan Lewis in Doctor Who from 2021 to 2022.
Mackenzie Crook (Johnny White)
As well as playing Gareth in The Office and Ragetti in Pirates of the Caribbean, Mackenzie also played notorious gangster Johnny White in Skins.
A criminal gang leader, Johnny takes offence when Cook disrupts his daughter Kayleigh's engagement party.
He appeared in season 3 in 2009, and went on to have a role in Game Of Thrones, The Detectorists, and many more.
Mark Heap (Graham Miles)
Actor Mark Heap played the role of Graham Miles, the estranged father of main character Chris Miles.
After abandoning the family, he has a strained relationship with his son.
Heap also appeared in Spaced, Big Train and Green Wing, but most people know him as Jim in Friday Night Dinner.
Matt King (James Cook Sr, Cook's dad)
Most famous for playing the iconic Super Hans in Peep Show, Matt King played the role of James Cook Sr, Cook's dad, in Skins.
A toxic father, James Cook Sr appeared in seasons three and four, and is a very bad influence on his son.
King has also appeared in Made In Dagenham, RocknRolla and Bronson.
Harry Enfield (Jim Stonem, Tony and Effy Stonem's dad)
Comedian and creator of Harry Enfield & Chums, Harry Enfield played the role of Jim Stonem across the first three series.
Jim often easily lost his temper, and was loud and self-centred.
The Kevin & Perry Go Large star also appeared in Ruddy Hell! It's Harry & Paul and many other comedy shows.
Joe Cole (Luke)
Luke appeared in season six of the show as a minor character, who first appears at a party in Morocco.
Initially a love interest for one of the characters, they are warned that he's a drug dealer and not a nice guy.
The relationship soon turns sour thanks to his toxic behaviour.
Joe Cole went on to star as John Shelby in Peaky Blinders and as Sean Wallace in Gangs Of London.
