Questions have been raised over the scandalous sacking of Sex and the City star Chris Noth, after the Mr Big actor this week took aim at former on-screen love interest, Sarah Jessica Parker.
For those who missed it, fans of the glitzy big-city hit were blindsided earlier this week, when 71-year-old Noth alluded to a major feud having been sparked between he and the Carrie Bradshaw actress.
The news came after Parker, 60, was last week honoured with the Carol Burnett Award at this year's Golden Globes ceremony, for her outstanding contributions to television.

Accepting the grand prize, the mother-of-three reflected on working with the 'most glorious ensemble of women and actors', likely alluding to girl-gang Kristin Davis (art dealer, Charlotte York), Cynthia Nixon (lawyer, Miranda Hobbes), and Kim Cattrall (PR mogul, Samantha Jones).

Parker and the latter are also said to have endured their own share of disagreements in recent years - but that's a story for another day.
Within hours of the honour, her former co-star Noth took to share a rather unamused image of himself at the gym working out, captioned: "F&@k New Years - LET'S GO!"

It didn't take long for fans to put two and two together, with one asking in the comments: "You mean f**k sjp & her award right? lol."
Oddly, Noth immediately confirmed the suggestion, writing back: "Right."
Immediately, confused onlookers wondered what could have possibly gone wrong between Parker and Noth, who previously appeared to be firm friends when the cameras stopped rolling, often being photographed together on red carpets during breaks between seasons.

"WHAT DID I MISS SOMETHING?" one asked, whilst another suggested: "He’s just bitter that they [wrote] him off the show."
The latter theory seems to stem from Noth's entrepreneurial tycoon character being brutally killed off during the very first episode of the show's long-awaited spin-off, And Just Like That.
Airing in 2021, the instalment saw Big endure a heart attack whilst cycling on his Pelaton, with the season largely following Carrie's grief journey, which starts with her husband's funeral.
Big's dramatic exit was reportedly spurred by actor Noth being accused of sexually assaulting two anonymous women in separate incidents in 2004 and 2015 - claims he vehemently denied as 'categorically false'.

He told PEOPLE at the time: "These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago - no always means no - that is a line I did not cross. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out.
"I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."
Despite his assertion, it was later reported that Noth had been set to appear in the finale of the series during a fantasy, where Carrie reunited with Big whilst scattering his ashes from the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris - but this was later axed.

It was also around this time that Parker began distancing herself from Noth.
Asked by the Hollywood Reporter about the allegations in 2022, the Ohio star revealed they were no longer in contact.

Responding to a question about her 'reaction' 'as a producer', Parker replied: "I don’t even know if I’m ready to talk about it, but I don’t think - I wasn’t reacting as a producer. I should have worked on this because I’m just... it’s just..."
Davis and Nixon also shared a joint statement in response to the accusations against Noth, claiming they were 'deeply saddened' to hear them.
"We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences," the pair told press. "We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."
