Warning: Love is Blind UK spoilers.

If you're anything like us, you've been glued to your screens rattling through Love is Blind UK ever since it first dropped on Netflix earlier this month (7 August).

In case you're unfamiliar with the concept, the reality TV show, hosted by real-life couple Matt and Emma Willis, follows a selection of UK singles who have signed up for a less-conventional approach to modern dating, and will choose someone to marry without even meeting them.

As we eagerly await the reunion episode of the Netflix show, contestant Freddie Powell shared a pretty surprising revelation about just how long dates actually last.

The 'ultimate love experiment' is filmed over several weeks and sees the newly-engaged couples move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods.

Unfortunately things didn't work out for Freddie who called his relationship off with his fiancée, Catherine Richards, at the altar.

Speaking in a fan Q&A on TikTok, Freddie explained that Cat was his 'only' romantic connection in the Pods, adding: "I got on with everyone, everyone was dead sound and dead nice, but yeah just Cat and that's how I wanted it to be honest.

"I didn't wanna get to know anybody else because I had strong feelings for her."

However, the dating process in the Pods seemed to be far from ideal as the Love is Blind UK contestant continued. "The lounge was so boring right...

"You're just literally waiting there all day long. You just wanted to get in that pod, and when you got in there it was just so nice because you'd been thinking about your connection all day long and night and stuff, and all you're thinking about is your connection and when you can speak to them again."

Explaining the process a little further, Freddie resolved: "It was crazy, it's a mad, mad experience; overwhelming mix of emotions, there were ups there were downs, it was a rollercoaster.

"But yeah, it was really nice and some of the dates were several hours long, so it was mental, but overall amazing."

Elsewhere, in the show Freddie and Cat were baffled after finding out their grandparents had the exact same names - Mary and Bill.

"I don't believe you. I've got goosebumps," Freddie said in the Pods.

Cat clearly found it all too much to take and burst into tears as Freddie continued: "Oh what the hell! Are you joking. That's mad."

The Love Is Blind UK reunion will be released next Monday (26 August).
