At long-last, it's finally here!

And what better way to kick off the New Year than cosying up on the sofa watching a brand-new binge-worthy series you can really get your teeth stuck into?

Well, luckily for you, Fool Me Once starring Michelle Keegan finally landed on Netflix yesterday (1 January) after months of teasing and fans are going wild for it.

Check out the official trailer here:

Joining Keegan will be a star-studded cast featuring with the likes of Murder Mystery star Adeel Akhtar playing Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce and Absolutely Fabulous icon Joanna Lumley, who will lead alongside Keegan as Judith Burkett.

The highly-anticipated thriller gives fans an incredible adaptation of the popular novel Fool Me Once, written and published by Coben in 2016.

The official Netflix premise of the series, which will be the streaming platform's eighth Coben adaptation, reads: "Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once follows Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan) who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Richard Armitage).

"But when Maya installs a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she is shocked to see a man she recognises in her house. Her husband, who she thought was dead...

Michelle Keegan and Richard Armitage in Fool Me Once.

"Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce (Akhtar) leads the homicide investigation into Joe's death while grappling with secrets of his own. Meanwhile, Maya's niece and nephew, Abby and Daniel, are trying to find the truth about their mother's murder, several months earlier.

"Are the two cases connected? Fool Me Once follows these characters on a thrilling hunt for the truth that will reveal shocking secrets and change their lives forever."

The series was first announced in February 2023, and was confirmed by Netflix to consist of eight 60-minute episodes.

And it seems people took no time to whack it on the telly, with many rushing to social media to share their verdicts.

One X (formerly Twitter), user penned: "I did not expect to end Fool Me Once in floods of tears but that was BRILLIANT."

A second chimed in: "First binge watch of the year! Amazing limited series was at the edge of my seat all day. All the suspense, twists and that ending though... Harlan keep them coming!"

The show premiered on Netflix on Monday (1 January).

"Yesterday we binged Harlan Coben's latest on Netflix, Fool Me Once... Highly recommend!!!" quipped a third.

Another gushed: "Fool Me Once on Netflix 1000/10."

"Fool Me Once on Netflix has me glued to the TV," added a final Netflix viewer.

Talking about the series in February last year, Coben said: "I’m thrilled and honoured to once again be collaborating with my uber-talented partners Danny, Nicola and Richard.

"Fool Me Once will be our fourth Netflix series [following Safe, The Stranger and Stay Close] together, and man, it never gets old!

"Fool Me Once is a pulse-pounder - a shocking story of how secrets and deceit have the power to bring people together while simultaneously tearing them apart.

"I can’t wait to see how this dream cast brings these characters to life."

Fool Me Once is currently available to stream on Netflix.
