Emily in Paris has been renewed for yet another season with a major change and Netflix viewers are already making the exact same joke.

It's clear that Lily Collins is far from being done with Rome because the beloved series has been renewed for a fifth season.

"We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris!" creator Darren Star told Tudum.

Collins announced the exciting news during an appearance on Good Morning America.

She's also revealed that she’s very much so looking forward to seeing what happens between her character and new beau Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini.

"Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance," she also told Tudum.

"We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. And he comes at that perfect time."

Now, as I'm sure you can remember, the most recent season saw Emily spark up a romance with the handsome Italian fashion scion and then move into an apartment to open a Rome office for Agence Grateau.

However, that doesn't mean the name of the show is changing, with Star assuring: "Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome.

"It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris, but she’s going to have a presence in Rome."

Regardless, that's not stopped fans cracking the same joke wondering if the name of the Netflix show will change given the new storyline.

One X user quipped: "I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF THERE WILL BE A SEASON 5 OF EMILY IN PARIS, OR IF THERE WILL BE AN EMILY IN ROME ????!!!!!"

A second penned on social media: "#SpoilerAlert! After finishing the whole season in one sitting, #Paris is not going to be the same without Emily. S5, if there is season 5, will be named Emily in Rome, just because she loves #Vespas, and #Italians do it better."

"I need Emily in Paris season 5. Or a spin off to Emily in Rome. Immediately," joked a third, while a fourth said: "So we are getting #EmilyInRome next.

"I'm so excited. I never thought we'll get to see her anywhere other than Paris that too in Rome. & trust me it isn't easy to choose between Gabriel & Marcello.

"I hope Emily gets all the love she deserves. #EmilyInParisS4 #EmilyInParis #Netflix."

Emily in Paris is currently available to stream on Netflix.
