Yesterday marked a pretty big day for all the Bridgerton fans out there as the second part of the third season finally dropped after what felt like an eternity of waiting.

Now, it took Netflix viewers no time at all to rattle through the first four episodes, which dropped last month (16 May) and, ever since, we've all been itching for our latest Bridgerton fix.

Well, the countdown officially came to an end yesterday (13 June) and hawk-eyed viewers have been quick to pick up on a bunch of tiny details in the latest batch of episodes.

So, we already know all about the racy sex scenes which got so intense that actors Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, and Nicola Coughlan, who stars as Penelope Featherington, even broke a chair.

However, fans of the 'ton have since looked to the less steamy scenes finding themselves in absolute stitches after spotting an 'improvised' detail in the background of one.

In one of the episodes in the latest season, we see Lady Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) handing her daughter, Eloise, played by Claudia Jessie, a drink.

However, instead of popping it down, Eloise hilariously dunks the remains into her own glass - a detail which many social media users found absolutely hilarious.

Sharing a clip of the exchange, one X user quipped: "Violet handing Eloise her drink and El pouring it into her own looool."

"That was probably not in the script!?!?" wondered a second while a third echoed: "That totally had to be improv - love it!"

A fourth praised: "I’m sure this is all Claudia a genius."

"She's so good with the improv! I love it!" penned another while a final X user added: "LMFAOOO THE WAY I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE!"

While Netflix viewers were buzzing to finally finish off the third season, many were also left absolutely furious after it was revealed just how long they'd have to wait for season four.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jessica Brownell explained: "We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language."

She went on: "And the writing takes a very long time as well, so we’re kind of on a two-year pace, we’re trying to speed up but somewhere in that range."

And by the sounds of things, fans are less than impressed by the news.

"Literally no excuses at all for them to take so long between seasons just to film 8 episodes. A new season of Grey's Anatomy comes out like every Fall of every year like and there's like almost triple the episodes," one hit out on social media.

Another went on: "TWO YEARS EVERY SEASON IS SO BAD. LIKE WTF

"IT'S GOING TO BE 10 YEARS UNTIL WE REACH HYACINTH STORY?????!?!?!??!"

Bridgerton season 3 is currently available to stream on Netflix.
