It's been almost a week since the second part of Bridgerton's season three finally graced our screens and we've been treated to a healthy handful of very steamy scenes.

The first part of the new season was all about that carriage scene but it's clear that fans' fixation on the second instalment revolves around the oh-so spicy mirror scene featuring none other than Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton.

We already know the exact timestamps to skip to to replay to your heart's content but Bridgerton fans have now taken things one step further after sharing the mirror scene playback speed hack that will 'change the trajectory of your life'.

Luke, who plays Colin Bridgerton on the beloved period drama opposite Nicola as Penelope Featherington, previously discussed the NSFW scenes on ITV’s This Morning and hinted at the 'spicier' scenes.

The actor revealed: "The carriage moment is crazy because in comparison to what we see later on… I mean, it’s a beautiful, beautiful moment and it is so authentic and true to their love story, but it gets even sort of spicier as we go on.

"Particularly in the start of the next block. So I didn’t really expect the reaction to that scene."

Well, as we now know, the reaction was quite intense given that pretty much every Netflix viewer who watched the 'ton was left in a total frenzy after seeing the mirror scene.

And, as if it couldn't get any more raunchy, fans have now recommended watching it in slo-mo to make sure you don't miss a thing.

To adjust the speed, simply pause the show while it's playing then select the speed icon - located on the options panel with 'Audio & Subtitles' - and choose a playback speed.

One X user urged: "Just wanted to let everyone know that watching the mirror scene in 0.5x speed will change the trajectory of your life."

A second enthusiastically agreed: "OMG I did this yesterday to both this scene and the cowgirl scene and can confirm that it is AMAZINGGGGG."

"I love it when people give me life hacks for free," praised a third, while a fourth chimed in: "Facts, but have you watched the scene with the audio description… like what in the smutty fanfic?!?!?"

A fifth quipped: "I watch a lot of YouTube on 1.5x speed and never understood the reason for .5x, but now I know."

And a final X user echoed: "Thank you for your wonderful service to this community."

Indeed.

Bridgerton season three is currently available to stream on Netflix.
