OK, so we've had a little under a week since the second part of the third season of Bridgerton finally dropped after what felt like an eternity of waiting.
Netflix viewers have been treated to a whole bunch of Polin action, improvised scenes, an excellent storyline twist and one particularly steamy mirror scene. And, as we've seen time and time again, the fan theories don't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
The latest speculation sees Bridgerton fans divided after one worked out exactly who Eloise should marry as season three apparently revealed the 'obvious' choice.
One viewer took to social media to share their theory on the matter, writing: "Real talk, Lord Debling is a perfect fit for Eloise. He would go on long trips, leaving her alone for years and giving her all the independence she craves!
"He would most likely pass away on one of these trips and she would be left to live her life like Lady Danbury."

Others have since rushed in to share their verdicts on the fan theory, with many revealing their reservations.
"IDK," wrote one Facebook user. "Still think she deserves love. Pretty sure her husband will have to be really intelligent and enjoy the things she does."
A second echoed: "I feel like Eloise wants love. She sees her siblings experience love and does want it for herself.

"However she equally if not more so values her independence and she believes she can only have one or the other. She can’t decide if she wants an epic love or agency in her own life.
"She doesn’t think she can have both. That’s what I’m getting at least."
"Not at all," disagreed a third. "She needs someone who makes her laugh and cares for her but they are both independent. Eloise is too smart just to be stuck running a household."

"Or travel WITH him," offered another fan of the period drama. "Getting to see the world, learn all the things, meet all the people, different cultures, different laws etc. He is in the pursuit of animal welfare, she's for female rights. Could be a good team!"
And a final Facebook user simply added: "Lord Debling is goals to be honest."
Well, that's definitely for certain.
I guess we'll simply have to wait and see what the future holds for the pair.
