Netflix has been providing us with banger after banger and one of the most recent additions to the streaming platforms proves the top-notch viewing material isn't going away anytime soon.

The drama series, which has since climbed to the prestigious spot of 'No. 1 in Programmes Today', has Netflix viewers absolutely hooked so much so that they're all saying the exact same thing about it.

The eight-part series, which only just landed on Netflix last week, boasts a huge-name cast and is packed to the brim with sex, drugs and violence to keep you both disgusted and absolutely gripped at the same time.

Netflix viewers are obsessed with the streamer's new series.

The raved-about series in question is none other than Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen and stars The White Lotus' Theo James, Skins icon Kaya Scodelario and gangster movie veterans Vinnie Jones and Ray Winstone.

Check out the official trailer here:

The Gentlemen follows the story of Eddie Horniman - played by James - who unexpectedly inherits a gigantic estate and the title of Duke of Halstead from his father.

Eddie soon finds himself embroiled in a world of criminality getting involved in career criminal Bobby Glass’ (Ray Winstone) industrial cannabis empire on the East End of London.

"The world of The Gentlemen is a little bit of me," Ritchie told Netflix last November.

"We’re looking forward to bringing fans back into that world, introducing new characters and their stories, and I am excited to be doing it with this extremely talented cast."

The Gentlemen starring Theo James dropped on Netflix last week.

Well, since it dropped on the platform, Netflix viewers have rushed to X, formerly Twitter, and they're all gunning for James to be the next James Bond

"Theo James is a hot contender for James Bond as well imo," penned one Twitter user.

A second quipped: "Watching The Gentlemen on Netflix, I think I see a future James Bond [in] Theo James."

"PETITION TO GET THEO JAMES TO BE THE NEXT JAMES BOND!" joked a third.

"I have seen enough footage for Theo James to be the next James Bond..." praised a fifth, while a sixth echoed: "I kinda need Theo James to play James Bond idk."

Another wrote: "Theo James for James Bond. We’ve seen the action skills from divergent movies and the undeniable charisma from s2 of the white lotus. I think that’s all we need."

While a final Twitter user added: "Theo James is clearly the only candidate for the next James Bond so what's the hold up?"

The Gentlemen is currently available to stream on Netflix.
