After a batch of fresh new faces were announced last week in relation to the incoming Harry Potter television adaptation, a number of the former film franchise's admissions from their time on set have re-emerged.
All eyes are back on the Wizarding World ahead of the 2027 release of the highly-anticipated HBO series, with Dominic McLaughlin set to play Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton taking on the role of Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as the new Ron Weasley.
But one Potter-related scandal which has recently resurfaced was exposed by the former main man himself, Daniel Radcliffe, back in 2012.
At the time, the British actor - who played the titular character in the franchise throughout all eight films - was chatting to The Telegraph about some of his worst behind-the-scenes habits.

And surprisingly, it was during this conversation that the former child star, now 35, confessed to rocking up to the fantastical sets on several occasions already drunk.
"I can honestly say I never drank at work on Harry Potter," Radcliffe told the publication, before quickly correcting himself.
"I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work."

The star even went on to claim: "I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes."
Radcliffe was cast in the first Harry Potter movie, The Philosopher's Stone, at just 11 years of age, with filming of the final flick, Deathly Hallows: Part II, concluding not long after his 21st birthday.
By the time the two-part finale was released to cinemas, however, the actor had gone tee-total.
"Ultimately, it was my own decision," he told the news outlet. "Like I woke up one morning after a night going like, 'This is probably not good.'."

Speaking to GQ in 2012, he recalled several heavily-intoxicated night outs with friends, where he'd be forced to dodge the paparazzi.
"I really got away with that," Radcliffe told the publication. "Because there were many instances when a shot like that could have been taken."
He also told the men's mag that the decision to turn his back on booze was spurred by a lack of enjoyment filming the sixth film in the franchise, The Half Blood Prince, in 2009.

"I think complacency probably crept in a little bit on that film," he confessed, telling the outlet he believed he should have been living a 'celebrity life', but 'wasn't dealing with [my career] particularly well'.
The father-of-one continued at the time: "I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff."
Having been sober for two years at the time of publication, he told the magazine: "I'm actually enjoying the fact that I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I'm really pleasant and I'm not f***ing up totally all the time."
The same year, he was asked by Heat whether he believes growing up in the public eye had any influence on his reliance on booze.

"I think it would have happened anyway," he admitted. "I think it’s just in me. I loved the fact I suddenly could talk to people and feel so entertaining and so interesting.
"But after a while, you’re living under such a cloud of shame about what you’ve done and the dread of who you might see, what you might have said to them, what you might have done with them.
"You either have to change something or give into that shame and I wasn’t prepared to do that at 21."
