The MTV VMAs were full of amazing performances, well-deserved awards and a very touching relationship tribute that fans of Katy Perry just can’t get out of their heads.
When Orlando Bloom name dropped Perry on stage as he was handing her this year’s Video Vanguard Award after performing a 10-minute medley of her classics, which included 'Dark Horse' and 'E.T.', viewers at home were stunned.
The pair, who have been together since 2016 and welcomed daughter Daisy Dove in 2020, showed off just how perfect their relationship is and even shared an onstage kiss.
The singer, and her Pirates of the Caribbean beau seemed to be incredibly supportive of one another, even though Bloom was later videoed showing a hilarious reaction to her NSFW performance.

But Perry didn't appear fazed when he casually dropped her real name onstage in front of all to hear.
And it seems many viewers didn't realise Perry is in fact called Katheryn Hudson.
So, why did the actor say her real name and not her stage name when presenting her with the award?
Bloom actually explained the reason why he dropped her name, right before he did it.
He said it's because he fell in love with her as ‘Katheryn Hudson’, while the world loved her as her stage name and stage presence, Katy Perry.
The star began on stage by saying: "Give it up for our newest Video Vanguard, Katheryn Hudson.”
Then, Bloom quickly added ‘Katy Perry’ as he welcomed her at New York's UBS Arena.
He said to the crowd: "You fell in love with her as Katy Perry, I fell in love with her as Katheryn Hudson.
"You know her as a global superstar who brings love, light and her unique sense of humour into every song she writes and every music video she creates.
"I know her as a mother, as a partner who brings that same sense of love and joy to our family."
Bloom went on: "She loves with her whole heart and it’s kind of irresistible. Congratulations on this honour baby, I’m so proud of you."
People at home who didn’t know the singer's real name were touched by Bloom's speech, but equally as shocked by the bombshell.
Taking to X, fans expressed their confusion.
One person wrote: “KATY PERRY ISN'T HER REAL NAME WHAT.”
Another said: “Guys I didn’t know Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry were married I was so confused on why he was calling her her real name.”
Someone else stated: “So I’m today years old when I learned that Katy Perry’s real name is not Katy Perry… is Taylor the only artist who goes by her real name.”
What a lovely sentiment on a special night.
