France took on Spain last night at the World Cup semi-finals, and a number of celebrities rocked up to watch the game live.
Two particular celebs who caught the attention of fans were football legend David Beckham and Marty Supreme actor Timothée Chalamet, who enjoyed an unexpected meet-up during the nail-biting match.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling decoded the pair's exchange, which later turned to a sporting comparison involving Chalamet’s favourite basketball team, the New York Knicks, with Beckham firmly dismissing the suggestion.
The former England captain and Hollywood A-lister could be seen discussing the action on the pitch, with Beckham predicting Spain were likely to win while encouraging Chalamet that only 'one goal' was needed to change the momentum.

Sharing his thoughts, Chalamet, who is part French, insisted that France 'need to get stuck in'.
According to Nicola, Beckham said: "Penalty changes a lot."
"It’s a lot," Chalamet replied before Beckham urged: "They need to score one goal, (repeats) one goal, just to pick it up.
"Spain are likely to win now."
Chalamet added that 'France need to get stuck in', prompting Beckham to agree: "Yeah."
Beckham continued: "You can’t compare them to the Knicks."
He then shook his head while die-hard Knicks fan Chalamet gave an inaudible response.
Unfortunately, Chalamet's head was turned away from the camera at the time, so Nicola could only pick up Beckham's side of the conversation.
"It all matters, they are not better," Beckham said, while shaking his head. He added: "No."
Victoria Beckham was also in attendance, alongside her children Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
Her eldest, Brooklyn, was not present given their ongoing family feud.

Victoria went viral last week (11 July) for her far less enthusiastic reaction compared to David's to one of Jude Bellingham's goals.
Snaps of Victoria's reaction quickly began doing the rounds on social media, which led to US-based comedian Jenny Johnson sharing some sarcastic remarks about the mother-of-four on Instagram.
"I wanted to take a moment to single out @england’s number one fan Victoria, Lady Beckham!!!!" Jenny jibbed. "There’s nothing like cheering your heart out for England from home, then they cut to Victoria, and we see that classic Posh Spice smile!
"It’s so infectious! I used to think I got animated while watching sports, but Victoria blows my enthusiasm out of the water! Each time I see her I shout, 'SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!!!!' because her energy is electric!!! See for yourself!"
"She was celebrating inside, I promise [laughing emoji]," David later defended. "Her reactions were slightly slower than mine."
Spain secured a 2-0 win against France.
Spain will face either England or Argentina in the final in New Jersey on Sunday evening (19 July).
England and Argentina's match takes place tonight (15 July).
