After Victoria Beckham's hilariously nonchalant response to England's victory over Norway this weekend inadvertently went viral, her husband David Beckham has rushed to her defence.
The former Spice Girl joined her ex-England captain beau at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium for the quarter-final match on Saturday (11 Jul), along with three of their four children, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 15.
Their eldest son, Brooklyn, was nowhere to be seen, instead watching the game remotely amid an ongoing family fall-out.
The rest of the family, meanwhile, cheered on from the sidelines after England secured themselves a place in the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, beating Norway 2-1. Well, all of them except Victoria.

While headline-hitting photos show David, 51, leaping out of his seat following Jude Bellingham's extra-time goal, and their son Romeo thrusting a celebratory fist into the air, Victoria remained sat, not even cracking a smile.
In the hours after the rib-tickling snaps began circulating online, 'Posh Spice' began facing backlash from some die-hard footie fans.
"lol. She wasn’t interested in the slightest," one Facebook user hit out. "Just there for the photos."
Another asked: "Omg!!! Who’s that composed??? It’s an England game in the World Cup!!!"
A third wrote: "It’s like she’s frightened to let go."
"Thankfully, robotics have come a long way since the 90s," joked a fourth.

Another continued: "If it’s not about her, she’s not interested."
Victoria's facial expression was also mocked by US-based comedian Jenny Johnson, who shared a compilation of images and some savagely sarcastic remarks about the mother-of-four on Instagram.
"I wanted to take a moment to single out @england’s number one fan Victoria, Lady Beckham!!!!" Jenny jibed. "There’s nothing like cheering your heart out for England from home, then they cut to Victoria, and we see that classic Posh Spice smile!
"It’s so infectious! I used to think I got animated while watching sports, but Victoria blows my enthusiasm out of the water! Each time I see her I shout, 'SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!!!!' because her energy is electric!!! See for yourself!"

Unfortunately for funny-woman Jenny, however, her post about Victoria quickly caught the attention of David Beckham.
The sportsman commented below: "She was celebrating inside I promise [laughing emoji]. Her reactions were slightly slower than mine @jennyjohnsonhi5."
David has since been praised by fans for publicly defending his wife, many of whom claimed Victoria's iconic reaction was the highlight of their evening.
"@davidbeckham VB just needs to be VB. Perfection!" one wrote.
Another teased: "@davidbeckham she’s probably tired after celebrating for all your goals in the past."
"@davidbeckham good for you, for defending your wife. True gentleman," a third went on.
