Line Of Duty cast have wholesome reunion as Vicky McClure gets married

Vicky McClure and long-term partner, Jonathan Owen, tied the knot on Friday (11 August).

Line of Duty trio - Vicky McClure, Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston - shared a wholesome reunion to celebrate their co-star getting married.

I don't know what it is, but seeing your favourite TV stars reunite is just as heart-warming than an actual family reunion.

McClure, 40 - best known for her role as Kate Fleming in the BBC drama - and her long-term partner and film director Jonathan Owen, 52, tied the knot on Friday (11 August).

Taking to Instagram, the actor marked the special reunion by captioning her post: "Tied up in Notts!!! Best. Day. Ever!!!!!"

Compston, who played the role of Steve Arnott, also uploaded an image of McClure backing a Red Stripe in her wedding dress.

Alongside more photos of the Line of Duty cast, his caption reads: "Incredible day in Notts celebrating the best of people @vicky.mcclure and @jonathanowen71 nuptials.

"First dance with the dementia choir was just beautiful and says everything about the two of them sharing their moment with the dementia team a few shandies were had afterwards."

The trio were also joined by the show's creator, Jed Mercurio.

A few 'shandies' were indeed had afterwards.

Another pic posted by McClure shows the 'Our Dementia Choir' in action, with her and Owen dancing in front.

The choir was formed by McClure as part of a documentary for the BBC to 'discover the true extent of music’s power in combatting dementia.'

In England, it is estimated that around 676,000 people have dementia. In the whole of the UK, the number of people with dementia is estimated at 850,000, according to the NHS.

The Transport for London employees and writers, Ian Redpath and Jeremy Copra, behind All on The Board wrote: "A huge congratulations to the both of you.

"May all your dreams and wishes come true as a married couple and may you make lots of happy memories and have many years of adventures together. You look amazing. xx"

Fellow actor Jo Hartley - who starred in This is England '86 (2010) with McClure - added: "Love you both, it was so amazing to be there and share it with your family and friends - love you both.

"Salt of the earth @vicky.mcclure @jonathanowen71 xxxx congrats!

"Mr and Mrs O!"

The Alzheimer's Society also commented: "Congratulations, Vicky! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness."

Of course, we send our best wishes to the happy couple, McClure and Owen.
