Trisha Paytas fans have new theory about her new baby’s name as Ozzy Osbourne death thrusts her into spotlight

The internet icon announced on Tuesday (22 July) that she's welcomed her third child with her husband Moses Hacmon

Trisha Paytas fans are convinced that they’ve cracked the reason why she chooses such unique names for her children - and it kind of makes sense.

It comes as Ozzy Ozbourne’s recent death thrust the 37-year-old YouTube sensation back into the spotlight - yep, you read that right.

For those not familiar with the bizarre ‘Trisha Paytas baby reincarnation theory,’ it’s essentially a meme that links the deaths of famous people to Trisha’s timely births.

For example, back in September 2022, the internet star welcomed her first baby with her husband Moses Hacmon, a girl called Malibu, just days after Queen Elizabeth II died.

Then, people linked the birth of her second child, daughter Elvis, with false reports of Pope Francis dying at the same time - although, he didn’t actually pass away until a whole year later.

And now, as you can see where we’re going with this - on Tuesday (22 July) Trisha revealed she had welcomed a baby son to the world, named Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon.

On the same day, it was announced that Ozzy Osbourne had died at the age of 76, causing wild theorists to reignite the theory that there’s some sort of cosmic link between the two events.

The family of the Black Sabbath singer released an emotional statement following his passing.

It read: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

And of course, grieving fans have been left less than impressed with the insensitive jokes and theories.

But aside from this theory, people have come up with a brand new hypothesis on why Trisha chooses such unusual names for her children - Aquaman, Malibu Barbie, and Elvis aren’t exactly common.

In simple terms, fans think that the names are so outlandish because they aren’t actually the children’s real monikers.

Some social media users believe that the little ones have completely different names in reality, and these are simply ‘stage names’ Trisha uses online in order to protect their identities.

In the comments of her latest TikTok, one user theorised: “Hot take she’s coming up with fake names to protect her children’s identities and all of the personalized and stuff is just for the camera.”

Meanwhile, a second and third agreed: “Trisha is actually really smart. She comes off as ditzy blonde but I think it's more for the brand,” and: “I want to believe this, I really do.”

“That’s actually so smart and probably true,” replied someone else.

And another added: “It’s honestly probably a possibility if I was famous and had kids I’d hide them like that too fake names.”

Meanwhile, elsewhere, someone else questioned: “Why do I feel like Aquaman is a cover name for his real name??”

And a second chimed in with: “I was just thinking that like they all have kinda crazy names it would be a smart way to protect their privacy a little bit.”

“It’s probably Moses she added the Aquaman as a joke,” guessed another TikTok user.

While someone else said: “Guys what if these aren’t really their names and it’s just a screen name so that they can have a normal life when they’re older and be able to use their name without the fame (it’s a reach ik).”

However, not everyone is on board with this theory and some have even attempted to debunk it.

“Only thing that makes me not believe this is that she shows the children’s faces and posts them online anyway, so if she was trying to protect their identities then why still post them,” penned one person.

Another pointed out: “She told the story on the podcast about how they kept writing just aqua on the birth certificate and that she had to correct them 3 times… so probably not.”

While a third agreed: “If she wanted to protect them they wouldn't be online.”
