With Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in the headlines again following their joint appearance at the AFC Championship Game last weekend, we're reminded of a controversial run-in the sportsman endured last year with fellow star Julia Roberts.
In July 2024, Kansas City Chiefs athlete Travis bumped into the Pretty Woman actress behind the scenes of one of girlfriend Taylor's Eras Tour gigs, with Julia being seen grabbing his chest in a video that later went viral.
Afterwards, a lip reader attempted to translate the pair's seemingly passionate conversation, and several Swifties were left feeling hot-headed.

For those in need of a reminder, 35-year-old Travis - who, according to Harper's Bazaar, has been romantically linked to the 'Anti-Hero' singer since September 2023 - appeared at one of her concert performances in Dublin last summer.
Also attending the gig was Hollywood veteran, Julia, 57, with the pair coming face-to-face behind the scenes while Taylor performed.
Their interaction was filmed by another concert guest, and the Notting Hill actress was seen grabbing hold of tight-end Travis' chest.
Naturally, the clip sparked mass concern at the time, particularly among members of the Swiftie community.

One hit out online: "Whoa Julia…. She needs to calm down lol he is uncomfortable."
Another said: "What is she doing? She's making Travis uncomfortable scratches his shirted chest."
A third added: "Julia Roberts scratching Travis Kelce’s chest was not on my weird s**t in the TSMU bingo card, that’s for sure."
At the time, a lip reading fan claimed they were able to determine exactly what was said between the pair, writing on X: "Guys is Julia Roberts saying, 'I'm so happy for you guys' to Travis? That's so cute."
Certified lip-reader Jacky Gonzales supported the sentiment at the time, claiming on her own Instagram page that Julia said: "I’m so unusually happy for you guys, and I don’t mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy."

And though some Swifties took issue with the moment, others were left swooning at the time.
"Julia Roberts loves the Big Yeti, Travis Kelce... If that was anyone other than Pretty Woman herself, playing around with Trav I would be legit mad," one gushed.
"Travis Kelce and Julia Roberts why does this feel like a fever dream I'm crying," another teased.
This isn't the first time that an alleged human behaviour expert has claimed to be able to determine what Taylor and Travis say to one another during public appearances.

On Sunday evening (26 Jan), a video recorded by a spectator at the KCC American Football game against the Buffalo Bills was assessed by an expert, seemingly showing 35-year-old Taylor offering some sweet words of encouragement to Travis, who'd just secured himself a spot at the upcoming Super Bowl final.
The clip in question was shared on TikTok by the official NFL channel, and showed the couple holding one another closely while celebrating on the field, with Taylor planting a kiss on Travis' lips before whispering something in his ear.
According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, she was heaping praise onto her man over his latest victory.

Speaking to Tyla, Jeremy claimed that Taylor appeared to be telling him something along the lines of, 'That was stunning'.
Though he admits he can't be sure, he believes that Taylor then said something like, 'You stopped the catch-up', which Jeremy says could be an American football reference.
He believes she then goes on to gush: "You were sublime. Out of this world. That was great."
Jeremy then admitted he was unable to see Travis' response.
