Travis Kelce makes major appearance change and fans have made an interesting point

Swifties are arguably one of the world's most dedicated fanbases.

Always primed for updates in Taylor Swift's life, including those revolving around her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, it's clear such fans never miss a trick when it comes to the pair.

And the latest update has left many making a very interesting point after the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star was spotted with a major appearance change - however, it's clear that not everyone is on the same page when it comes to his new look.

Images of Travis have started circulating on social media showing the NFL player rocking longer, floppy, curtain-style locks - very reminiscent of one major heartthrob from the 1990s.

Yep, none other than the Chandler Bing - the beloved character on Friends played by the late Matthew Perry.

Posting side-by-side snaps of Travis and Chandler, one fan wrote about Friends fan Taylor: "She knew what she wanted and boy she got it."

"They are so Monica & Chandler coded anyway," quipped a second, while a third chimed in: "Oh!! I've been seeing all the, 90s boy band comparisons - but this is another good one!"

A fourth beamed: "I love long hair Travis!"

Others, however, couldn't have disagreed more.

"Well…… now you’re fundamentally wrong there. Travis may cut his hair like Chandler but they’re opposite types anyway! It’s not only about the hair!" wrote a fifth.

Someone else chirped: "I really didn’t mean this as an insult to Travis or anything, just objectively speaking - Chandler is a very specific archetype (tall, slim, awkward white boy), not unlike Hugh Grant in most of his romcoms, etc. Travis is a traditionally attractive well-built man."

And a final fan added: "It is not a winner. Back to the buzz please!"

Ever since the Super Bowl back in February, we haven't seen much of Tay and Trav, with sources coming forward to share why they've seemingly 'disappeared' after stepping away from the public eye.

Last month (1 April), a source told Us Weekly that the couple - who first went public with their romance in the summer of 2023 - 'needed time for themselves'.

Assuring any concerned fans out there worried about the status of their relationship, the insider said: "Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love.

"They’re just taking a break from the public eye."

"Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye," added a separate source. "He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted.

"He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor."
