Alabama Barker has addressed recent reports that she'd allegedly been hospitalised as a result of 'nicotine withdrawals'.

The 19-year-old is the daughter of Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, and his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.

On Monday (30 December), it was reported by various outlets, including TMZ, who initially broke the story, that Alabama had been taken to hospital due to symptoms of nicotine withdrawal - which, according to the NHS, can include strong urges or cravings to smoke, trouble concentrating and feeling restless.

The publication further claimed that she had called 911 and was 'rushed to an LA-area hospital'.

However, she’s set the record straight by revealing in a statement on social media that the ‘rumours’ were not true.

In a post on her Instagram Stories post, she wrote (via PEOPLE): "I just want to clarify that I was not in the hospital this month or last. The situation occurred some time ago. And I was there for about three hours before being discharged.

"They provided me with a nicotine patch and an inhaler, and that's all. Let's please avoid spreading any rumors and focus on moving forward.

"Thank you."

On Boxing Day (26 December), the influencer spoke on TikTok about her health, revealing that she had the flu.

She said: "I have not been okay. On my birthday, I didn’t even get to enjoy it because I was so sick. But I am back on my feet, and I really want to give you guys a Christmas haul."

She also celebrated her 19th birthday on Christmas Eve, and according to E! News, some of her gifts included Chrome Hearts gloves and a wallet from her stepsister, Atiana De La Hoya, and from her dad, she received an $8,000 Balenciaga bag, mini Prada bag, a Dior purse and a Cartier Love bracelet - amongst many things.

Alabama said: "I'm beyond grateful for all my gifts, and I just wanted to share this with all you guys because some people requested it, and I think it's a fun way to appreciate your gifts."

However, she has also been embroiled in some drama as viral sensation Danielle Bregoli, who is known by her stage name, Bhad Bhabie, publicly accused her of 'taking' her boyfriend Le Vaughn.

Bregoli claimed on her Instagram: "@alabamaluellabarker took my man. I told [Le Vaughn] next time I catch you. You gon b with them!”

Alabama was quick to fire back in response to Bregoli's allegations, denying them and writing that she has 'no interest' in Le Vaughn and that she felt 'compelled' to address the situation as it had 'misrepresented' and 'damaged her character.
