Tommy Fury and dad John spark backlash over ‘hypocritical’ comments about Kim Kardashian and her family

Tommy Fury and his dad John have seriously ruffled some feathers with their latest comments on a podcast about Kim Kardashian and her family.

Fresh from annoying his own fans after Tommy confessed he doesn't eat Molly-Mae's food, the boxer and his father are rattling cages once more with their hot takes on parenting.

Tommy is dad to Bambi, three, and new baby Midas, and he had some thoughts to share about childcare.

On the duo's podcast, the former Love Island star read out a talking point, which stated "10 nannies and mannies raising Kim Kardashian’s kids."

Kim K is raising North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.

Tommy's dad, John, lashed out: "If you can’t look after these kids yourself, don’t have them."

Tommy started to say "I mean, 10 nannies…", before his dad interjected: "It’s ridiculous. In my family, there was a lot of us. My mother looked after us, all by herself."

However, Tommy insisted: "If you’ve got money, you can afford a nanny. It’s not a cheap thing, is it?"

He then searched how many children Kim K has to 'warrant 10 nannies' and was seemingly shocked to find out the number.

"She’s only got four kids!" he exclaimed, before guessing the nannies are 'not all working at the same time; they’re kind of on a rotation, in shifts. I guess we don’t know the full story, though."

Playing devil's advocate, he added he was ‘all for having some help on board’.

"Me and Molly, we have help, but we’re with Bambi every day, all day," he insisted.

"It’s only if I’ve gotta go on a call, or Molly’s on a call, or whatever like that, or we’ve gotta shoot out, the baby’s looked after all the time," he said, seemingly thinking this is different from what Kim K does.

He added: "But I don’t understand people who just dump their kids with nannies and mannies all day, then don’t see them. I don’t understand that."

Fans were quick to rush to Kim's defence, saying the comments are 'so out of touch’.

Others argued that Kim is a very busy and successful business woman, insisting 'of course she needs support, and she can afford it, I highly doubt she just leaves the kids with the nannies 24/7.'

Another critic called the podcast ‘two dudes explaining away motherhood’, while another fumed: "Men judging women. What a concept."

"A man with a full time nanny judging a woman with a full time nanny," quipped one.

"Not sure I agree with men telling women how to mother their children" added one commenter.

"Also Kanye West's kids btw. Why only criticise the mother?" as another slammed: "So you have help with Bambi and Midas yet you’re looking down your nose at the fact Kim has help? Hypocritical I think."

"If I could afford any time of help, I’d take it. But my husband and I literally tag team lol. So yes, give me all the nannie’s, all the cooks, all the housekeepers. I’ll take it all!!!" insisted one fan.

Needless to say, their comments have not gone down well.
