The Spider-Man star opened up about exactly when he plans to 'disappear off the face of the earth'

Tom Holland has opened up about when he plans to quit Hollywood after explaining the heartwarming reason why.

The 28-year-old A-lister has a pretty impressive filmography under his belt, including blockbuster smash-hits like Spider-Man, Uncharted, The Impossible and Avengers.

However, it seems we may not always see Tom up on the silver screen as he's revealed in a brand-new interview exactly when he wants to step away from the spotlight of La La Land.

Speaking to Men's Health, the Londoner explained his plans to have a family one day - something that he says will make him 'disappear off the face of the earth'.

"When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore," he shared. "Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth."

But, for now, fans can look forward to a number of upcoming Tom Holland-fronted flicks including the fourth Spider-Man film as well as

Christopher Nolan's next movie, The Odyssey, which also stars Matt Damon and Zendaya in 2026.

Tom, who has been dating fellow actor Zendaya now since 2021, also shared other circumstances he won't stand in front of a camera.

Opening up about why he chooses not to walk the red carpet with his girlfriend, he explained: "Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us."

And this is by no means the first instance Tom has been an A+ boyfriend to Zendaya as he said last month in an episode of the Dish podcast that being on set with her was one of the highlights of his acting career.

"It’s a saving grace," he said "It’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that, like, familiar glance at each other of like, 'Can’t wait to talk about that later'."

Fans fawned over Tom's Men's Health admission, eager to applaud his chivalrous gesture.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, admirers praised him with one fan commenting: "Boyfriend of the century!"

And another wrote: "Oh Tom, the hot, respectful and thoughtful boyfriend that you are."

Others deemed him to be 'a real man' and applauded his 'humility', as a fellow admirer said: "Greenest Green flag I've heard in a while."

"The way he puts Zendaya first is honestly so sweet," another gushed.

And it's clearly not just fans who are full of praise for the actor, as Timothée Chalamet also complimented his character.

Timothée, appearing on LADbible TV, said: "Tom is the ultimate rizz master. The internet knows this. Zendaya knows this. Everyone knows this."

Agreed.
