Taylor Swift fans are convinced that Zohran Mamdani just gave away where and when her wedding to Travis Kelce will take place.
The 36-year-old American singer and the NFL star, also 36, got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating - and fans have been dying to know the details of their big day.
Tay and Trav have kept the whole thing very hush-hush, with no hints on who will be invited or even when and where they’ll tie the knot, which is understandable given their celebrity status.
But the Mayor of New York just let a massive hint slip, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by Swifties.

While discussing security surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the games that are taking place in his city, he went on to list other exciting events taking place in the Big Apple in the coming months - you can guess where this is going.
As reported by Page Six, the Democratic Socialist said in a press conference on Monday (15 June): “I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in delivering that safe experience.”
Mamdani continued: “We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one. We know it coincides with the Knicks’ Finals run.
“We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding - all happening at the same time - and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
So, not only has the mayor revealed that the wedding will be taking place while the World Cup is on, but he’s also made it pretty clear that the location is New York City.
He also asked if he was invited to the big day and if he would be going, to which he hilariously responded: “No and no, [but] I wish them a lovely wedding. I’ll listen to ‘Only The Young’ at home on my own.”
One fan wrote on X: “Did Taylor already apply for police protection? wedding dayyyyy is so near.”
While a second questioned, “So the wedding is in NYC? And Mamdani knows because..welp is he invited?”
A third added: “I'm crying how Taylor's wedding is a mediatic event comparable to the World Cup.”
A fourth wrote: “Mamdani casually dropping the Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce wedding bomb like it’s just another event on the calendar.”
While a fifth pointed out: “Mamdani just said in the interview that NYC is ready for Taylor Swift's wedding.”
