A seriously 'uncomfortable' Taylor Swift moment has left fans totally convinced that Lewis Capaldi 'called her out' on national TV following her recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

Last Friday (3 October), which also happened to be the same day Taylor released her highly-anticipated album The Life of a Showgirl, the artist sat down on Graham's sofa alongisde Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy, Tron stars Greta Lee and Jodie Turner Smith, The Paper's Domhnall Gleeson, and Scottish singer Capaldi, who performed live in the studio.

During the chat, Lewis hesitated to promote his new EP titled Survive and the awkward moment has left social media users speculating what it was all about.

Graham brought up his upcoming EP, prompting the 'Someone You Loved' hit-maker to claim: "Uh yeah... I was told I wasn't allowed to talk about it."

As 'oh whats?' and 'by who's' echoed amongst the guests, Lewis looked around and said: "Am I...? F*ck it," before providing details about his EP.

"Yeah the EP is coming out it's called, I'll just tell you, it's called 'Survive' and it's coming out later in the year."

After catching light of the TV clip, it didn't take long for people to share their speculation over the ordeal with some reckoning that Taylor, or a member from her team, had allegedly been the ones who instructed Lewis to not discuss his music projects.

One Reddit user seethed: "By WHO!?' girl stfu she's such a bad actor."

"Right? Her reaction is a dead giveaway. She didn't expect to be called out," agreed a second while a third, referencing the alleged 'diss track' drama between Taylor and Charli XCX, joked: "Diss track against Lewis coming up!"

Another chimed in: "The way Graham Norton immediately and quickly looked right at Taylor as soon as Lewis C said he wasn’t allowed to talk about it!"

And a final viewer added: "The panic in her voice, thinking that he was about to expose her team!"

And that wasn't the only stand-out moment during the chat show, as fellow guest star Turner-Smith asked Taylor what her and her new fiancé Travis Kelce's plans were regarding starting a family.

"What about babies?" she asked.

Taylor was then said to have misunderstand then question, believing that Turner-Smith must have been referring to young wedding guests attending her big day.

"Taylor went, 'Oh, no under-18s are coming, just adults,'" an audience member later claimed on TikTok.

"No, no, I mean, are you going to have babies?" Turner-Smith reportedly asked.

Sensing the tension, Norton was then said to have stepped in, with the audience member praising him for being 'so on top of it', and seeing that the conversation was swiftly 'moved on'.

Apparently, the comedian 'instantly' told Turner-Smith: "That’s an off-camera conversation to have."

Tyla has reached out to Taylor Swift's representatives for comment.
