Celebrity Big Brother's Sharon Osbourne and husband Ozzy look unrecognisable in sweet throwback photos

The former X Factor judge first met her future Black Sabbath husband at the age of 18

She's the name on everybody's lips following her shock appearance on Celebrity Big Brother this week, but now she has people talking for a whole other reason.

After sharing some now-viral throwback pictures of her and hubby Ozzy Osbourne, fans have gone wild at just how cute the inseparable pair looked in their early days.

The former X Factor judge and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne are the definition of childhood sweethearts, having first come face-to-face when Sharon was just 18.

I wonder if they knew at the time that their teenage butterflies would soon develop into one of the most long-lasting celebrity marriages of our time.

Anyway, the couple were first introduced to one another all the way back in 1970, when Sharon's dad Don Arden, worked for Ozzy's band heavy metal band.

What started off as a mutual attraction to one another became slightly more serious when the responsibility of managing Black Sabbath fell onto Sharon herself.

And by 1979 - which was the same year Ozzy was kicked out of the music group due to substance abuse issues - the pair were officially dating, despite the fact Ozzy was technically still married to his first wife, Thelma Riley.

Four years later, however - once his divorce was finalised - the loved-up duo tied the knot in a breathtaking Hawaiian ceremony on 4 July 1982.

In the three years that followed, the husband-and-wife duo welcomed their three children.

In 1983, their first-born daughter Aimee - who has chosen to remain predominantly out of the family's spotlight - was born, closely followed by their now-television star daughter Kelly.

And in 1985, the last of the Osbourne trio was welcomed into the world, in the form of their son Jack.

While Ozzy was seeking help for his abuse issues - the duo took a backseat from the world of fame, raising their children in peace and quiet.

By 2002, however, the family were ready to return to the public eye and that year, their first ever documentary series The Osbournes - which followed the ups and downs of the daily, and often chaotic, life - was commissioned, quickly becoming a huge on-screen success.

"Surprised is the f*****g understatement of the millennium!" Ozzy told Hot Press in of his reaction at the time.

The next decade saw the family hold onto their spot in the celebrity world, with Sharon appearing on The X Factor as a much-loved judge, as well as several other TV shows, which makes seeing in Celebrity Big Brother all the more nostalgic for fans of the fiery redhead.

2022 saw the hopelessly-in-love duo celebrate an incredible four decades of marriage, each penning sweet tributes to one another on social media.

Speaking of their anniversary night, Sharon teased press: "We never left our suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It was brilliant."

The couple celebrated 41 years together last year.

Ozzy also marvelled at their achievement: "When we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, I said to Sharon, 'Where did the years go?'. It's just ridiculous. I mean, 40 years is amazing. It shouldn't have lasted this long."

And to top off an incredible few years, in 2023, the Osbourne family launched a joint podcast, where they can be heard being as refreshingly honest as ever about their turbulent lives.

Some thing never change!
