Robbie Williams’ wife, Ayda Field, has sparked concern amongst fans after being rushed to hospital last night (21 January).

The former X Factor judge had enjoyed a night out with Robbie, 49, on Sunday evening before things clearly took a turn for the worse.

Ayda, 44, has since taken to Instagram to share with her one million followers an update from hospital after thanking her hubby for being 'by her side'.

Before it all went south, Ayda posted a photo of her and the 'Angels' singer all dressed up in full-glam.

She was wearing a floor-length sparkly gold gown, while Robbie donned a grey suit with metallic silver shoes.

The mum-of-four captioned the post: "@robbiewilliams A night under the stars with my galaxy partner ❤️⭐️🌖🌖🌒🌍 #stars #galaxy #datenight AWxx."

The couple were flooded with a whole avalanche of compliments from fellow celebs and fans with one Instagram user writing: "Omg, you two look amazeballs!"

A second commented: "Stunners!! U both look better than ever before! Wowza!" while a third chimed in: "You two clean up real nice!"

However, shortly after that post, Ayda took to her Instagram Story to share a snap of herself with her chin resting on her hand, whilst sat on a bed in A&E.

She also had an IV drip and heart monitor hooked up to her arm.

She thanked her 'amazing' husband for being 'by her side'.

The overlay text accompanying the hospital pic read: "After a picture perfect evening, a less than picture perfect ending. Back now and resting.

"Thanks to my amazing hubby @robbiewilliams for being by my side."

Ayda has not yet revealed what caused her to be rushed to hospital, and it is not yet clear whether or not she was released from the facility soon after.

Robbie and Ayda's date night and hospital run-in comes after a documentary based on Robbie's life and rise to fame was released on Netflix back in November.

Directed by EMMY and BAFTA nominated, Joe Pearlman and executive produced by Academy Award, BAFTA and Grammy winning director Asif Kapadia, the doc features up to 30 years of never-before-seen archive footage behind the star.

From his introduction to the spotlight at just 16-years-old and his rivalry with bandmate Gary Barlow to his famous on-stage panic attack and struggles with addiction and mental health - the series covers a whole load of bombshells from Robbie's decade-spanning career.

Robbie Williams is currently available to stream on Netflix now.

Tyla has reached out to Ayda Field's representatives for comment.
