Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend shares ‘anger’ in emotional tribute after his sudden death at age 27
Presley Gerber’s ex, Charlotte D'Alessio, has broken her silence after he passed away aged 27.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Presley, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died at a rehab facility on Sunday (20 September).
His death has reportedly been linked to a suspected overdose, although the official cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Canadian model Charlotte, who dated Presley from 2018 for around two years, has paid tribute by sharing a series of photos on her Instagram Stories.

The 28-year-old posted a video of him running near water with a small dog, adding that this is how she'll ‘always remember him’.
Another image showed the former couple looking into each other’s eyes in bathing suits as she wrote: “Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honour your life.
“You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry ab this.”
And one black-and-white snap showed the two embracing, with Charlotte writing: “Love u Pres. Always. Up there, down here. don’t ever doubt that.
“We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it.”
Like Charlotte and his famous mother Cindy, Presley was a model. He worked with major fashion houses, such as Calvin Klein, Moschino, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana.
Over the years, Presley had candidly spoken about his experience with depression and substance abuse.
During an appearance on podcast Studio 22 in 2023, he said: “Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or 100 people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do.
“(Mental health) is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job and there’s so much to it.”
Presley continued: “That’s really what I want to do: help people, whether you’re depressed, or you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean, it could be anything, and there’s no judgment.
“I’ve seen a lot of stuff, and I’ve learned a lot of things. What I hope I can do is have made the mistakes for some other people, so they don’t have to make the same mistakes that I made.”
Presley started his own Instagram series called 'Mental Health Mondays', writing on social media in November 2025: “It’s been a minute since I’ve posted - I had to take a step back and take care of my own mental health for a bit.
“But I’m coming back soon - stronger, clearer, more intentional than ever.”
Model and actress Kaia also reflected on her brother's 'decade-long struggle with drug addiction' in an interview with Vogue for the September issue.
“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” the 25-year-old said. “I think that’s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.
“My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn’t share anything - and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, 'I’m gonna be very human for everyone'.”
