Paris Hilton sparks safety concern after sharing video of her kids Phoenix and London in car seats

Viewers were alarmed when Paris shared a video of her kids about to travel in her van

Fans of Paris Hilton have expressed concerns over her children's car seats after the mum shared a video on TikTok.

In one clip, Paris can be seen celebrating Mother's Day with her little ones - Phoenix, one and London, six months.

"My first Mother’s Day as a mom of two!" she wrote. "My heart is so full today... Use #FameWontLoveYou in your Mother’s Day posts so I can see all of your beautiful families."

But in a separate video, Paris, husband Carter and the babies could be seen getting ready to head out and celebrate.

The kids were sitting in their car seats, but viewers were alarmed when they noticed the babies were facing forward.

“Please hire someone to install car seats,” one fan wrote in the comments.

While another said: "It's safest to have your babies rear facing until they are 4 or over 40lbs."

And others were concerned over the use of latches and belts at the same time, with a third adding: “Please dble chk [sic] the car seat manu’s recs on if you can use the latch & belt at the same time. Usually hard no. Also, rear facing until 2ys is usually law.”

According to Childcarseats.org, babies and infants should be carried in rear-facing car seats.

"This reduces the risk of death or injury in a crash by 90 per cent compared with being unrestrained," they explain.

"Rearward-facing seats provide greater protection for the baby's head, neck and spine than forward-facing seats.

"So, it is best to keep your baby in a rearward-facing seat for as long as possible.

"Only move them to a forward-facing seat once they can sit up unaided and they have exceeded the maximum weight for the seat or they are too tall for the seat, this is usually when the top of the child's head is above the top of the seat.

"Or, you could consider using a larger extended rearward facing seat, where children can be rearward facing until they reach 18kg or even 25kg."

Paris later shared a second video with the babies rear-facing instead, captioning the clip: "Thanks for the mom advice, I'm new to this... The #CutesieCrew is now ready for take off in the #SlivingMom van."

One person commented: "I'm glad you didn’t take offense!!!"

To which Paris responded: "No, I’m not taking offense. I am a new mom and just learning as I go.

"So I appreciate advice when it is kind as I’m just trying to be the best mom I can be."
