Pamela Anderson has been inundated with praised after debuting a new appearance change.

The 57-year-old Baywatch star rocked up to a West Hollywood screening of her upcoming film, The Last Showgirl, which also features Jamie Lee Curtis, Billie Lourd, Jason Schwartzman.

Anderson wowed with a cosy-looking brown wool coat-style dress paired with some black heels - but it was her new hair which caught the attention of her adoring fans.

The actress has long-been known for her signature blond bombshell locks, a perfectly lip-lined pout and paper-thin brows that were all the rage in the 90s, but it's clear she's changed it up since.

In fact, it feels like we see Anderson rocking a no make-up look more often than not these days.

Now, as we know, women should be able to exist just as they are without it being considered some radical statement (e.g. not shaving your legs, not wearing a bra, etc) but, unfortunately, it's far from the status quo especially in La La Land.

So, it's pretty refreshing that Anderson is doing away with the archaic beauty standards.

In a conversation with The New York Times, she described her new stripped-back look as a way of 'peeling back off the layers of [her] life'.

"I’m a fresh slate now, at the starting position of the next chapter," she said, adding that this chapter is 'going to be even better' now that she doesn't have to 'pretend to be something that [she's] not'.

Anderson admitted: "I’m enjoying the process of getting older.

"The things that are happening to my face - a little elasticity is leaving - I’m finding humour in that. I feel sexier now that I have some secrets and some mystery. We don’t learn that until later in our lives."

And while it's nothing new that Anderson often dons a fresh-faced look for red carpet events, her freshly-cut and styled bangs are definitely a much-welcomed addition to her look.

One X user penned: "I'm obsessed with Pamela Anderson and her beautiful no make up face."

"I think Pamela Anderson is absolutely beautiful NOW. Much more so than when she was younger. She is the quiet serene beauty that lasts," gushed another.

And a third echoed: "Pamela Anderson is so beautiful and I love that she is embracing her natural face so much."

Anderson is up for a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Shelly in the Gia Coppola-directed drama and is up against the likes of Angelina Jolie in Maria, Nicole Kidman in Babygirl, Tilda Swinton in The Room Next Door, Fernanda Torres in I’m Still Here and Kate Winslet in Lee.

She recently shared her excitement over the nomination, sharing with her followers on Instagram: "I am truly grateful, overwhelmed... and blessed to wake up this morning to this exciting news.

"I share this beautiful nomination with The Last Showgirl Family, my family, and my hard working companions on this interesting journey."

She continued: "It is never too late to dream, to start again, to stay open to possibilities - we are not all so lucky.

"I wish everyone my love and thanks while I navigate this new exciting chapter."
